Jayden's POV

Aniyah: Jay

Jayden: What

Aniyah: I'm hungry

Jayden: There's food downstairs

Aniyah: It's nothing that I want, can you take us out to eat?

I sat there in silence for a second, I was dead ass tired right now my boss got me working late hours and shit, got a nigga coming home close to 4 in the morning.

Jayden: Okay, go get your sister's ready and then we can go.

Aniyah: "Yay, Thanks Jay." she rushed out of my room

I rolled out of bed and hit the shower, after about 20 minutes I got out and put on some sweatpants and a T-shirt, I brushed my teeth, fixed my hair and left my room to go check on the girls.

Jayden: you ready?

Aniyah: Almost, Isis needs her hair done tho

I stepped inside the pink infested room and looked down at my baby sister.

Jayden: Is that right lil momma?

Isis: Yes, Jay can you help me?

Jayden: Sure princess

I combed out Isis hair, put it in two pigtails and braided the end then put in two purple barrettes which is her favorite.

Jayden: Go look and see if you like it

She got up and walked into the bathroom, a few minutes later Isis came out smiling.

Jayden: Do you like it?

Isis: Yes Jay thank you

Jayden: your welcome princess, now are we ready to go

They all said yes, we hopped in the car and took off.

Jayden: So what do you want to eat today?

Brianna: Denny's

Isis: McDonald's

Aniyah: Starbucks

Jayden: Aniyah, your 8 what do you know about Starbucks?

Aniyah: I Know it's good my friend's talk about going there with their mommy's all the time.

The car ride became silent, just thinking about how my sister's grew up with out a mother really wears heavy on me.

It never started out like this, we had a family a mom and a dad that loved us very much we were like a normal family. Then when I was about 16 my dad started to come home late and sometimes not even come home, him and my mom argued everyday over simple things. My dad started to drink which led to his violence he'd come home yelling and throwing things. He'd beat my mother, sometimes come after Aniyah, Brianna or Isis . One day while we were sitting on the couch my dad just got up and walked out the door, to the car and drove off. My mother was completely lost with out my father she got herself hooked on some drugs and was never the same. There were days where she would leave and not come back for weeks, she ran out of money and sold everything in the house and when that was gone she started to sell herself. I couldn't let my sister's grow up like that, so when I turned 18 I had legal custody of them, I found a nice house and we moved in so now I'm taking care of them.

My thoughts were interrupted by Aniyah calling my name.

Aniyah: JAY

Jayden: My fault baby girl
