Dejanae POV
I woke up still groggy with leftover tears stained to my cheeks nothing new, waking up to the sound of my mother yelling at me again. slowly pulling my body up I made my way to the mirror to look at the mess that stared back at me.
"Dejanae really you do this everyday nothing will change about you so stop looking" my mom said starring at me by the door, I said nothing and get ready for school.
"Little girl I know you heard me" she inched closer with a smirk on her face
Dejanae: *attitude*"Yeah ma"
Feeling a sting across me face only to look back at my mother between my blurred vision still staring at me with a smirk on her face.
"Get smart with me again and see what happens" she laughed and walked out leaving me there with nothing but new fresh tears.
