Here are some headcanons for the characters in Soft Spot. that I wanted to share..!!

I definitely see Jameson to have the pastel hoodies/tiktok street wear fashion kinda vibe. Not to mention he's already a very bubbly person, he'd for sure be well known among the girls ykyk If Ray weren't a delinquent, he and Jameson would definitely be the two eye candy of the school... 👀In terms of height (not including the reader), I think from shortest to tallest would be: Kae at 5'4 (~163cm)Corin at 5'7 (~170cm) Iris at 5'8 (~173cm) she definitely gloats for being an inch taller than Corin, especially because he's being a short meanie to her Jameson at 5'11 (~180cm) Ray with a whoppin 6'1 (185cm) Dog vs. Cat person? Kae is both, being an avid animal lover. But rather than owning a dog or cat, she has a lizard with a human-like or cheesy name like "Charles" or "Sir Waddles" Jameson = golden retriever boy = definitely a dog person!! He's the type of person whose face would visibly brighten/dim when he's feeling happy or sad. Just like fluffy doggo. Doesn't own any pets though but wouldn't mind having any kind of pet. Iris is dog. It just feels right. She doesn't own any pets either but only because her parents don't allow her to have one. She'd sell her soul for a dog if she could. Taking it on walks while she does her exercise, it's like her dream. Corin is a cat person. Pretty obvious. He's a very calm and calculating person, feels that dogs stink and have to much energy. Just like Iris. Doesn't have any pets but wouldn't mind having a cat. (COUGH COUGH FUTURE JUMIN HAN IN COMING 🚨🚨🚨🚨 GHHRHGRH) I actually see Ray as a cat person. He doesn't mind dogs but I see him more as a stay-at-home-lazing-around-with-their-cat person. The gang often has sleepovers at Kae's huge house and they'd go all out, mainly because her parents are the most friendly and lenient I'm talking like KBBQ, people would bring their consoles over to play video games, lots of snacks, gossiping, staying up late, maybe even sneaking out if they're feeling rather daring 😳At first, Ray was slightly on edge because he's never really had friends who would do things like this (that is, if he considered the people he acquainted with on the streets count as friends). But after the first sleepover, he loosened up. Speaking of video games, Corin is a god at Smash Bros. He also likes watching and reading tips and tricks on how to play certain characters better. No one likes playing against him because he's put so much time into learning and playing that everyone would get wiped within seconds. Kae has a TikTok account that blew up because of Ray and the Ray x Reader content Her first ever Tiktok where Ray made an appearance was at a sleepover, when the gang was waiting for the pizza delivery to come. It was the Cinnamon bun/Could kill you TikTok. I'll leave a link for reference here: (All credit to the people who made the TikTok) Looks like a cinnamon roll, could kill you: Kae (she put herself for this one, but I agree. She could get real scary when mad) Looks like they could kill you, is a cinnamon roll: Corin Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll: Jameson, Reader, and Iris all taken in one shot because the three were playing Mario Kart together :PLooks like they could kill you, would kill you: Ray, who was scrolling through his phone (unintentionally) looks up at the camera menacingly. And because of that, the video blew up and Ray 100% got asked about in the commentsRay made Kae inform her swarm of viewers that Ray was indeed taken and soon enough Ray and Reader content became a norm on Kae's account. Everyone loved how sweet Ray was to the Reader and how he always looked at her with that loving look in his eyes Here are another few TikToks I feel like they would make: Scary dog privilege check, with Ray as the "scary dog" obviously :P ()Kae and Jameson would definitely get the Reader to do text pranks/general couple pranks with Ray to get his reaction (e.g break up with me so I can listen to Olivia Rodrigo's album, messaging him "she's busy," "smile if you wanna break up with me...") THIS ONE. JUST BECAUSE THEY THINK IT'D BE HILARIOUS BECAUSE RAY IS KNOWN FOR BEING THAT BIG, MEAN, "I'M GONNA KILL YOU" KINDA GUY Since Kae and Ray are both Korean (Song and Choi being Korean last names), I feel like they've gotten closer because of that one aspect. I can't explain it but it just feels right to me. Sometimes they'd just break out into swearing at each other in Korean for the jokes. Ray's immediate family are the only ones not in Korea, all of his relatives are back in his home country. I feel like he'd be surprisingly fluent in Korean. You'd think that he barely knows how to speak the language nor does he care, but it's quite the opposite.He's definitely youngest child with an older sister who's significantly older than him. Probably in her early-mid twenties. Their mom made their names start with the letter "R." Ray and Rina. Both Ray and Rina are not a fan of it.Ray's close with his mom and his sister, but not so much with his dad. Probably because they're quite alike so they can have disagreements at times. Plus, his dad is a busy businessman so they rarely see each other as it is. Rina was like another parent to Ray when he was a kid. I also feel that Rina is like female version of Ray, in terms of the confidence and the looks. Very CEO, #girlboss energy.
