Your heels tapped through the hallway with your file huddled close to your chest. Once you met a familiar door, you entered without a problem which gave your eyes a quick flash of blue."What type of sorcery do you hold that you gave teenagers such power?" You whispered, questioning the scepter in front of you that glowed blue. But the faintest yellow.
Your team had made the theory that there was something within it. Surely a piece of glass -- what it looked to be -- couldn't control someone's mind that easily, right? Clint had begged you to figure it out. He'd been wondering how such thing could even exist. You were sure his logic is far off at this point.
Before you could start your short project, you allowed a small video of one of the conferences back at the tower play. It was about the mind stone. It seemed appropriate with what you were doing, "I'm telling you, Fury. There's more than just blue glass. I saw something while I was mind-controlled."
"You're suggesting there's something inside?"
You sat down on one of the stool bars and set the mind stone on one of the counters. You had a laptop that contained some of its uses. Mind control, telepathy, and the people your team found that used it.
"Yes, that's what I'm saying."
"Y/n, I'm sure you can figure it out. You and Jane are headed to the North Pole, right?"
"Right."
"Then we can send it away for now. We need to keep it in hiding after Sokovia. We can't let another hydra member get ahold of it."
Though, when you were supposed to stand up carefully. You hit the table, which made the stone fall. But, your quick reflexes saved you from trouble.
"You do know there are spies. They're everywhere."
"Are you suggesting that I'm a spy, Rogers?"
Though, when you opened your palm. The Mind stone's barrier broke. Revealing a yellow gem. With proven theories, you were itching to get this new information sent to Fury.
"Are you not a spy?"
"I'm not."

As the afternoon sun flashes down to reach the hills, you decided to exit out of that cold room that you despised, yet allure you at the same time. You mentally prepared yourself to enter that same room you exit hours ago in order to fix thta damn wifi box.
"Oh, hello there," Loki's velvet voice reaches your ears once you opened the door. Your mouth falls to see a spotless room, "I did a bit of cleaning. Although, I think I violated your second rule -- Or was it your first?"
"You cleaned the room?"
"Is it that unbelievable?" He inquired, glancing up from the Narnia book you bet he had repeated several times, "I just thought it was an eye sore."
"Well.." You cleared your throat, "Thank you."
Loki unconsciously gave you a smile, which he immediately made it drop, "It's no problem," He closes the small book, "Besides, this book is boring me. Where are the other parts?"
"I don't have it," You walked over to the table to feel its smooth texture, "I'm still suprised how you cleaned this room so fast."
He looked offended, "You're telling me you only brought one part of the franchise?"
"Well the only thing I was meant to do here is research, anyway...and I forgot about it," You waved a hand in dismissal.
"Messy and forgetful, a terrible combo," You rolled your eyes, "..Here's your notebook, I thought it looked important to you."
"Did you read it?"

Once your figure ran past through thhe glass screen -- out of his view -- he sighed a breathe of relief as his fingers hesitantly opened the leather notebook revealing old, yellow papers with words written by a dark tint pen.
The first thing he saw was pictures, and a name he couldn't familiarize with. Nikolai Kiselev. Written in cursive, and below it was a picture of his monotone face. A frown painted on his face, and many things that made him intimidating.
The journal was filled with patterns that align from what he had learned, Nia L/n, a woman who looked just like you. The only difference you had with her was probably one side of her hair. It was badly shaven, which made him feel bad.
Then the next page, 0-0-7-6, and your name right next to it. You looked so young. A picture of you was filled with sophisticated notes at the bottom.
Experiment 76: Succesful.
A shaky breathe exhaled out Loki's lips as he read several trainings. Turning back to the last page -- Nia's page -- it was identical to yours. Though, it seemed you had better points.
Super soldier serum: Succesful.

He studied your face with evident fear, obviously you were afraid to get your secret out of open doors, "Did you?"
"Of course not," He lent the book back, watching as your face relaxed with some sense of relief. Swiping the notebook back in your grasps.
You cleared your troat, "Thanks for not reading it. This journal is very private."
Loki felt his heart squeeze, "Why-Why are you here?"
"I was gonna try and cook us something..Might need a little help."
"It would be my pleasure," Loki smiled, but feeling his stomach churn with guilt. He had held secrets before, he shouldn't have trouble keeping this one. Right?
