Chapter 14

Ellies Pov:

It's about ten minutes later and Josie and I are now about to sneak out of her room.

She walks towards the door and quietly opens it. She carefully peaks out and grabs my hand when it's safe to go out. We quickly go downstairs and as I sit down on the couch, Josie gets back up to Eric's room. But before that she quickly jogs back to me and softly kisses me, making me smile. She gives me a big grin and then walks back upstairs.

A few minutes later she and Eric walk downstairs. I take a deep breath and then stand up.

"Hi.." Eric says as he walks towards me.

"Hey.." I reply while avoiding looking at him.

"I'm sorry, Ellie. I should've told you about Rachel. I just didn't know how. And the longer I waited the harder it got. It was stupid, I'm sorry." He tells me, making me look at him again.

"It's okay..I get it.." I answer with a small shrug and he gives me a small smile.

At the end of the day I can't be mad at him when I'm basically doing the same..

"But.." I take a deep breath. "I want to be able to spend time with Josie." I say and then glance at Josie, who's staring at me intensely.

"We both know we can't avoid each other." I add and he sighs.

"Is that what you want?" Eric asks and then looks at Josie.

"What you both want?" He adds, so Josie and I look at each other.

"Yeah." I say for both of us and he looks back to me.

"Okay.."

"I hope it's okay that I'll have to get used to all of this." Eric says and I nod with a smile.

"Of course." I tell him and then pull him into a hug.

"Um..also..Josie is my tutor." I add as we pull away.

"Oh..okay." He mumbles and then looks over to Josie.

"I'm sorry for how I acted, Josie." Eric tells her and she smiles softly.

"Now c'mere." He says while holding out his arm.

Josie smiles widly and then walks over to us and wraps her arms around me and Eric. I look at Josie and she smiles at me before leaning her head against my chest. We eventually pull away after a few seconds and Eric scratches his neck again.

"So..will you sleep over?" He asks, making me glance at Josie for a second.

"Yeah." I answer and he smiles at that.

"But..can I sleep in Josies room?" I ask, making him frown.

"But you always slept over in my room." He mumbles.

"It's okay, Ell. You two didn't have a sleepover in a while." Josie says with a small smile.

"Look..I could invite Rachel? Then you two can get to know each other and you could sleep in Josies room later sine Rach is with me." Eric suggests, making me smile.

"Sure." I reply and he returns the smile before quickly texting Rachel.

"Um..I'll change real quick." He says before quietly rushing upstairs into his room, which makes us chuckle.

Simp..

"That..went surprisingly well." Josie says as she walks over to me.

She gently pushes me down on the couch and then sits down on my lap.

"It did." I reply while laying my hands on her lower back.

"You know..I'm really excited to cuddle with you." I say as I drag my fingers all over her back.

"And to touch you." I whisper in her ear and then lean down to kiss her neck.

"Ell, not the right timing to make me horny.." Josie mumbles, making me pull away with a chuckle.

"Sorry, love." I say, on which she starts to smile widly.

"Love?" She asks and I hum in response before leaning up to gently kiss her.

Josie and I just continue kissing but then we hear a door open, probably Eric's, so she quickly gets off me and sits down next to me.

"Rach is here."
