Chapter 13

Ellies Pov:

| 26th September | Friday |

It's been a week since the party. Eric and I haven't talked since. I noticed him looking at me in school but he never talked to me.

Everytime he wasn't home I went to see Josie. Things are really great between us, I couldn't be happier. Well..approval from my best friend would make it even better..

I'm currently in Josies room again, while Eric is probably again at some party with his girlfriend. Thankfully last week Eric didn't come home until like 4pm, so we didn't had issues with sneaking me out of the house.

Josie and I are again well..making out when suddenly hear the front door of the house open.

Josie and I quickly pull away and look at each other with wide eyes.

"Eric is back.." Josie mumbles while getting off me.

"We just have to be quiet." I tell her and she nods.

She then sits down on the bed next to me and puts the duvet over us. I lay down on my back and she lays down in my arm, on which I sigh softly.

Having her in my arm feels..great

But then there was suddenly a knock on the door, making our eyes widen again.

"Hide under the bed!" Josie whispers before quickly getting up.

I immediately get up and hide under the bed. Right after that the door opens.

Josies Pov:

Right after that the door opens and Eric peaks in.

"Can we talk?" He asks and I nod slowly.

"Okay first, why are you shirtless?" He asks confused with a small frown.

I bite my lip as I remember Ellies hands on my skin. Josie stop, don't make him question things.

I shrug. "It was warm." I reply simply and he doesn't question it.

"Look..I know I should've told Ellie about Rachel but it doesn't give her the right to be so mad at me." Eric says but I stop him right there.

"Of course she has! You kept something that important from her! She thought you trust her but then keeping something like that from her makes her rethink everything. You have no right being mad at her for wanting to spend time with me. You can try everything you want but at the end of the day we'll see each other. Your my brother and her best friend it doesn't work that we won't see each other. Goddammit Eric, all I do is wanting to hang out with her, what's so wrong with that?" I tell him, maybe a little to angrily.

"I'm just so scared. I don't want to be the second option again. After what happend with Kiara.."

"That won't happen again." I cut him off.

"You know Ellie isn't like that. Look..I just want to hang out with her." I say while stepping closer to him.

"So please let me." I beg softly and something in his eyes change.

"What you and Ellie have could never be taken away, Eric." I tell him and on that he looks down.

"Where is Ellie right now?" Eric asks as he looks back up.

"She's..at home, why?" I look at him curiously.

"Invite her over. I want to talk to both of you." He says before walking out of my room and closing the door behind.

Right after that Ellie gets out from under the bed and walks over to me. I feel her hug me from behind while wrapping her arms around my waist, making me sigh softly as I lay my head back against her shoulder.

"You think this will go well?" I ask, on which I just feel her shrug.

"I hope." Ellie response before softly kissing my neck.

"So..how will this work? We're going to sneak downstairs and then you'll get Eric, so he comes downstairs as well?" She says and I shrug.

"I guess so. We just have to be very quiet." I answer and then turn around to face her.

"But..we still have about ten minutes to ourselves." I add and she starts to smirk.

I chuckle at that and then lean up to kiss her while laying my arms over her shoulder. Ellie pulls me closer by the waist and then gently wraps her arms around my back, holding me tightly.

"Can we cuddle?" I ask as I pull away and bury my face in her neck.

She chuckles softly. "Of course." She tells me and then suddenly picks me up and carries me over to the bed.

Ellie lays me down and then lays down on top of me, making me chuckle. I wrap my arms around her and kiss the top of her head.

"I hope I can stay with you, so we can cuddle the whole night." She mutters against my chest, which makes me smile widly.

"Me too."
