Chapter 11

Ellies Pov:

As soon as our lips touch I feel butterflies everywhere in my stomach.

I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her more into me as I continue kissing her. I try to pull her up on my lap but she pulls away.

"Wooow, okay. Trying to make me horny again, huh?" Josie says, making me laugh.

"I wasn't planning to." I reply with a slight smirk.

"Remeber when you asked me out?" Josie says and I start to blush while humming in response.

"So now I'm asking you. Do you want to go out with me tomorrow?" She asks, making me smile widely.

"I'd love to." I answer before gently placing my hand on her left cheek and leaning in to softly kiss her.

When I lean back she shyly smiles at me, which makes me smile as well. Jo leans in and kisses me again.

"You wanna go back inside?" She asks when she pulls away I sigh while laying my forhead on her shoulder.

"Or..you wanna go to my place?" She asks, on which I lift my head.

"You sure? Your parents might think.."

"That you ditched Eric for me? They wouldn't." She cuts me off.

"But I guess they'll be a little surprised why you're suddenly with me though." She adds, making me bite my lip nervously.

"Um..also..they actually know I like you." Josie says, which makes my eyes widen.

"What? For how long?" I ask surprised, on which her face heats up.

"Uh...a few months?" She answers embarrassedly and I can't help but smile at that.

"Aww, look at you talking to your parents about having a crush on me." I say while placing my hands on her thighs.

"I don't have a crush on you. I like you. There's a difference." She corrects me and I smile before leaning in to softly kiss her.

"Let's go to your place."

We're now in front of Josies and Eric's house and why am I so nervous? I've known their parents since I was baby.

"No need to be nervous." Josie says as she takes my hand.

"They don't know what happened, I didn't tell them. It's just as always, okay?" She adds and I nod slowly.

She then opens the door and we walk in. After taking off our shoes and coats we walk into the livingroom to find her parents sitting on the couch.

It's nearly 12AM, how are they still awake?

"The party wasn't good?" Mark asks, on which Josie shrugs.

"It was fine, I guess." She replies and then looks at me.

"Can Ellie stay for tonight?" She adds, making her parents look between us with a raised eyebrow.

"And you sure Eric won't kill you?" Pia asks curiously, which makes her sigh.

"Eric and I had a fight at the party. So..I don't really care what he thinks of this." I answer while awkwardly scratching the back of my neck.

"Oh..are you okay?" She asks and I nod in response.

"Yeah..I just need space from him right now." I respond and Pia patts the free spot on the couch next to her.

"Wanna talk about it?" She asks, so I look over to Josie.

She gives me a small smile while nodding and I then walk over to the couch and sit down.

"So..basically I just found out that the mysterious friend he was hanging out for the past few weeks is actually his girlfriend. He has a girlfriend and didn't even tell me! Like- I get why he wouldn't tell me immediately but I didn't know anything about this person. He just refused to tell me. Doesn't he trust me enough?" I say and by the end Pia has her arm around me.

"I told him he should tell you. But he was just too stubborn." She replies with a small sigh.

"But that's not even the worst part. He always complains about me wanting to spend time with Josie because he's scared I'll leave him for her when he literally canceled everytime we wanted to hang out for this girl!" I continue and sigh deeply at the end.

"You know he's very sensitive about that subject. Especially since his last girlfriend wanted something from Josie while they were together." Mark says, making my eyes widen.

"Wait what?"
