(Y/N) POV

"Stop! Please!" I plead as Salem let's the Grimm scratch my back and chest.

"Ahhhhh!" I scream in pure agony

"Oh Yes, scream like that more often...ill add another," she smirks as another creature of Grimm appears.

"No..no, no, no!" I yell as it bites into my side.

Pain rises through my body as I scream louder than I ever have before.

Pain made its way all the way up to my head...and I passed out.

When I awoke, I was half expecting to be in the chair that she had been tied to for 2 years...instead, I was met with a soft bed.

"You're awake," Ruby says I blink.

"What happened?" I ask her as she shrugs.

"I don't know...the city suddenly erupted in flames...at the same time you passed out," she says as my head starts moving at a thousand miles per hour.

Evil...you didn't.

"Oh yes I did," he replies

"You said flames...what do you mean by that?" I ask Ruby as I look around. To my surprise I saw no police officers...that must mean she knows I wasn't behind it.

"The City just exploded...everything thinks it's a new attack from a new group of people," she says as I breathe a sigh of relief.p

"How many died?" I ask as she frowns...a Frown on Ruby's face was about as rare as getting struck by lightning.

"Over half the city," she says with hate in her voice.

"Wow...who would do such a thing," Evil says out loud...no, I need to tell her that it was me!

"Dude, listen. If you tell her your life is ruined...and the very least we can show them a fraction of the pain we experienced," he says as I nod

"No, it isn't right!" I complain

"And leaving you behind wasn't? You need to teach these people a lesson," Evil yells.

"But not Ruby! She's innocent!" I fire back

"No...she's the worst of them all," Evil spits out

"That's not true!" I yell back at him

"But it is...and you know it!" Evil says before disappearing.

"Where are we?" I ask her as she slowly laughs like she is dying inside (you know the laugh)

"This is my place...I would have took you to some hospitals...but well...they are kinda overloaded with all the explosions," she says I nod

"See, she cares about the citizens more than she does you," Evil says from far within my head.

I ignore him.

"Yeah, that make sense, plus I'm awake now anyway," I point out as she smiles and nods

I look around the place. It was a nice house.

I was resting on a couch and was really comfy.

The house was small but modern, it looked fancy.

"Nice place you have," I say as she nods

"It's Yangs, but I've been staying here for a while now," she says as I freeze a little at Yang's name.

"Ah, that's nice of her," I say as flashbacks of Yang yelling at Ruby to leave me repeat in my head

"Are you ok?" Ruby asks as I snap out of it

"Yeah," I mutter as I sit up.

As I do, the blanket that was covering me slipped off and at the moment I realized that I didn't have my shirt on.

As the blanket slid down my body it took me a second to realize what was happening.

Instinctively I dive off the couch and out of sight of Ruby.

"Ahh," Ruby says, shocked by my sudden action.

"Did you see it?" I ask from behind the couch.

I ran my hands over my body that is filled with scars.

"Yeah...I didn't know you were so self aware about it...I'm sorry," Ruby admits as I nod

"Can I have a shirt or something?" I ask as cloth hits me in the face.

"Thanks," I mutter as I put it on.

I reappeared with a blush on my face.

"Can I ask...did the Grimm do that to you?" She asks softly.

She looks right into my eyes.

I try to avoid her stare, I'm too ashamed to look into those silver eyes right now.

"Yeah," I mutter as I see her nod and divert her gaze somewhere else.

"I'm sorry for that...if only...." She begins

"Ruby! I'm home!" Yang says as she runs into the living room.

She looked at me...and I looked right back.

Kill her...kill her.

Yang looked shocked at seeing me.

Me and her didn't get along well in the first place...in fact I think she didn't like me at all.

She caused you pain.

She's the reason!

Kill her, kill her!

"(Y/N)...your alive," Yang says as Ruby pops up

"It's a miracle!" Ruby says as Yang studies me carefully.

"How?" She asks

"You should be dead," she finishes.

"I survived," I tell her trying to keep my voice normal...instead it comes out as hard and cold.

"Yeah...you did," she says as she shivers a little.

"That's....Great," she finally says with a fake smile.

Yang POV

I need to get home!

I hope Ruby wasn't caught in one of the blasts.

I look behind me to see smoke funnelling up to the sky.

I open the door and run inside

"Ruby! I'm Home!" I yell as I enter the living room.

I stopped in my tracks.

I saw a dead man.

I'm seeing a ghost.

He looked right back at me.

He should be dead right?

I looked right at him...and it was as if the devil was looking back at me.

His eyes flashed from his usually (E/C) coloured eyes to pure menacing red. It sent shivers down my spine.

"(Y/N)...you're alive?" I ask him as he nods.

I didn't want to call him (Y/N).

He looked exactly like (Y/N), he sounded like (Y/N).

But from his eyes I could tell.

This wasn't the (Y/N) we knew before he supposedly died.
