Confession

(Y/N) POV

Lucky, after the bomb went off at the playground, Ruby got distracted helping people instead of looking for the device that is keeping everyone inside the city.

"I don't know what I'll say to her when we find it," I mutter. She likely ask me to tamper with it...it's not a bomb so there's no consequences.

Actually, there is.

What do we mean?

We secretly but a safety feature in...it sends a powerful zap through your body

"Oh," I mutter outloud

My scroll rings as I look at it...it's Ruby.  I knew that before I even looked at it...she's the only one with the number to it.

"Hello?" I ask

"It's Yang! With the sudden increase of patients, the doctors are debating whether they should cut her off life support! They say she won't wake up anyway so it doesn't matter but I think otherwise!" Ruby says between sobs.

Her breath taking sobs broke my heart

I'm happy to hear her suffer

"Ruby. I'm just about done with the thing that can help her...hold on for another couple minutes," I say as she nods

"Ok," she says as the call ends

We should let her die

But Ruby would be devastated.

She deserves it. No amount of pain can compare what we went through with Salem.

The loss of a sister is something we can not compare to our pain

I take the two bottles I made to wake Yang up and erase the last month of her memory. I mix them together and I start rushing to the hospital.

It was overcrowded...majorly

Before, people could travel to clinics outside of Vale...with our isolation...only the ones in Vale can be used.

I pushed by people as I made my way to Yangs room

"No! She'll be ok!" I hear Ruby scream

"We need this room! She's a lost cause!" The doctors argue as I rush into the room.

"Put this in her IV," I tell the doctors

"What no! Nothing will work," they protest

"Your killing her anyways, why not try," I challenge them in a cold voice.

My eyes were dead set on them. They tried to resist, but my stare down did the talking.

"Ok," they say as they take a sample of the bottle and inject some into her IV.

"What will it do?" He asks me

"She'll wake up...in a couple minutes I think...I hope," I say as I look at Ruby.

The doctors didn't say anything else and they left the room.

Ruby looked at me with her tear soaked eyes and hugged me

"Thank you!" She says as I laugh

"Stop crying now...it doesn't suit you," I say as she nods her head

"I have been crying a lot recently haven't I?" She asks me as I nod

"Yeah," I mutter, serves her right

"Even if she doesn't wake up...I wanna thank you," she says pulling away from my embrace.

"No, no, it's fine," I say but before I can say anything else. She kisses me.

She kisses me right on the lips.

Ruby Rose is kissing me.

The girl I was head over heels for during Beacon is kissing me

"Ruby, I," stutter as she kisses me again

"(Y/N)...I missed you so much when I thought you died. I even tried to take my own life a couple times...but Yang was there for me...I never realized how much I cared about you until you were gone. And then you came back, my feelings exploded in ways I never knew they could. And then Yang...she....and you saved her...I...I," she says

"Ruby...I feel the same," I say as I feel butterflies in my stomach. She smiles...her angelic smiles melts my heart

How....how....she....care for us? Wh...

Ruby hugs me again as she buries her face in my chest. I remember all of our adventures during Beacon...my time in the pits of torture caused by Salem start to disappear.

"Ruby?" Yang asks as she wakes up.

"Yang!" Ruby says basically sprinting to her sisters side

"It worked! Your awake!" Ruby says smiling ear to ear

"What happened?" Yang asks as she looks at me

"Is that (Y/N)!" She asks surprised as Ruby starts explaining everything

Yangs face drops as she hears about the bombs.

"Oh no," she mutters.

The bombs. Made from my desire to cause harm to others because of my selfishness.

Why?

Because the love of my life abandoned me? But she never let herself forget about me.

I was stupid to expect her to die for me.

I should be happy that she didn't stay behind with me. It gave her another day to live...plus I didn't actually die!

Looking at the two sisters and then at the crowd outside this room...I feel guilty

I feel dirty.

I feel despicable

I'm no better then Salem.

"(Y/N) are you ok?" Ruby ask me,"you look pale," she says as I smile

If only there was a way to reverse what I have done.

You can create anything...a mere time machine shouldn't be hard

But isn't that impossible. Won't everyone lose their memories...I'll lose everything I have with Ruby

It's not time travel in the way your thinking of. We would just be sending everyone back in time...to a time before we starring to blow up the joint

So...no one forgets what happened...but the people who died are alive again?

Yes...it just sends everything back in time. Memories intact...loved ones intact.
