(Y/N) POV

"Sooooo how are you gonna move?" Summer asks me

"Speaking of that," I say as I move the sheets from atop my stub.

"Why am I messing my leg?" I ask her

"You got trapped in a bear trap. Out here, they are coated in a slow moving poison thats extremely fatal, I found you after I heard a short scream. I rushed over and saw you collapsed," she explains

"And you cut my leg off?" I ask her as she nods

"Yes, I don't know how to release a trap like that, plus, even if I did, the poison would kill you. Cutting it off made sure the poison couldn't move any further and it allowed me to get you to safety," she says as I nod

"I...see," I mutter as she looks at it.

"I think you'll be ok...better alive then dead," she points out.

"Fair," I mutter.

"I don't have any resources to make a crude prostatic, so your out of luck at the moment," she tells me

"Don't worry about it," I say as I think of a prostatic leg.

A mechanical leg appears on the ground as Summer looks surprised

"My semblance is making things," I say as she nods

I look at the leg a little amazed myself. Looks cool.

I slot my stub in the leg as it attaches senders and what not to the nerves of my stub.

After a minute. I was moving it around like normal.

"So we leave in the morning?" I ask Summer as she nods

"Yep," Summer says

"Making things makes me sleepy. So I'll do that," I tell her as I shut my eyes and let my sleepiness consume me.

It was morning before I knew it.

"How long?" I ask Summer as we start walking

"I reckon it'll take us 2 days to get back to Vale," she says as I nod

"You don't have a bullhead or anything?" I ask her as she laughs

"No, I was sent alone, therefore, a bullhead would be useless," she points out.

"I guess," I mutter as I look forward...I really don't look forward to seeing Ruby as a child.

2 days later

"Almost there!" Summer says excited as she's about to see her kid again.

"Yeah," I mutter as Ruby's old house comes into view. I remember reading in the news paper, that her childhood home was destroyed by Salem in their battle.

I shiver at the thought

Summer walks to the door and opens it.

"I'm home!" She declares loudly as silence prevails.

"Hello?" She asks as she starts looking around.

"Where is everyone?" She asks concerned.

Suddenly the back door opens and voice fill the house.

"Yang! We're too late...we didn't go far enough back to save her," I hear Ruby say...in a tone that doesn't belong to a young child.

Summer goes around the wall that was blocking our sight to the people's who entered the house.

Ruby looked at us. Her eyes traced to me instantly...and then to her Mother.

"....Mom," Ruby says as Summer looks confused.
