"How dare that low class, wretched male Omega speak to me in that manner." Alpha Dojin grumbled, while stomping through the main gate of the Calyx Packhouse.

He was fuming in anger at the insulting behavior of the pack Alpha and his son, how they had told him, who was an extremely respected member of the Council, to leave in such a rude manner, he felt absolutely humiliated.

Dojin was walking across the field towards the guest lodge, when he felt someone following him, the Alpha turned abruptly to face a young black haired Alpha boy, who flinched when Dojin had turned all of a sudden.

The older Alpha's enraged expression transitioned into an irritated one, as he raised his eyebrows questionably towards the timid looking, lanky Alpha boy.

"I wanted to tell you something, Alpha Dojin, my name is Kim Minho, the one who is going to be next pack Alpha." Minho spoke hesitantly, trying not to show how scared he was, but his confidence cracked a little bit more when Dojin scoffed, as if mocking him.

"Do you have any idea, how pathetically irresolute you sound, boy?" Dojin ridiculed Minho, looking at his dull appearance and the nervous behavior.

"Don't start judging me right away Alpha Dojin, after you have heard me, I believe you will change your opinions." Minho hurriedly spoke, pleading the Alpha; Taehyung had always been ahead of his older cousin in everything and that kept challenging Minho's pride as an Alpha, but this time, he had found an opportunity to show him down and he was not planning to let it go.

"Alright then, let's hear what mighty talk you've got." Dojin spoke with a smirk, it was not only Minho seeking an opportunity for revenge, it was him too.

"Not here, Alpha Dojin, if you could be kind enough to follow me to a more secure place." Minho said, looking around once to check if anyone was listening.

"Well lead the way then, Alpha boy, I hope this is worth my time." Dojin said, already stepping in behind Minho.

"Don't worry about that Alpha Dojin, I can guarantee it is worth it." Minho replied, gritting his teeth in joy, as both the Alphas walked towards the deserted field behind Minho's house, totally unaware of how a girl had heard their conversation and was now following them stealthily too.

The winter afternoon was radiant with the light glaze of the sun glimmering across the open fields, as a chilly breeze flew past an open window, bringing in a few scattered petals of cherry blossoms.

It was a perfect day to laze around in the cool, wooden cabin and Hoseok was doing exactly that, the seventeen-year-old Alpha was sprawled on the sofa of the living room in his house, enjoying the smell of fresh bread that his mom was baking in the oven, when his bratty younger sister barged in, suddenly shaking him awake loudly.

"Get up Hobi Oppa, I have something important to tell you!" Jiwoo shook her elder brother's shoulder, desperately trying to wake him up.

"Please go talk about your amazing fashion sense with someone else, Jiwoo I'm already bored." Hoseok mumbled sleepily to his sister, changing his position so his back was now facing Jiwoo, which was a bad idea, because she began hitting his back with her bony fists.

"Oppa, I'm serious, this is about Minho!" Jiwoo exclaimed, aggressively whispering so that their mom does not hear.

"Ah, what did that moron do now?" Hoseok asked finally giving up on his sleep, sitting up half way and stretching.

"He's planning revenge on Tae, with Alpha Dojin!" Jiwoo exclaimed impatiently, watching how Hobi's eyes widened as the information sunk in.

"I'm literally going to knock him dead this time, what does he think of himself, wait, who even is Alpha Dojin?" Hoseok asked with a frown and he was rewarded by a smack on the head with the pillow.

"Alpha Dojin from the Council!" Jiwoo hissed in disgust, as Hoseok was hit with sudden dread and worry, Minho could not do anything to Taehyung on his own, but Alpha Dojin was a powerful Council member, this was bad news.

"I heard Alpha Dojin say that he is going to include someone directly from the Central to expose Taehyung's true identity, Hobi Oppa, we need to tell this to the pack Alpha." Jiwoo spoke anxiously.

"No, Jiwoo, the Alpha and Luna have already gone through so much after the attack, we can't burden them with this too." Hoseok gritted his teeth, while running a hand through his light-brown hair in frustration, thinking deeply.

"Oh, I know who we can talk about this to," Hoseok jerked upright hopefully, as an idea crossed his mind.

"Who?" Jiwoo asked with a confused frown.

"Alpha Hyungsik, he will surely know what to do." Hoseok said and his sister smiled and gave him a positive nod.

The siblings at once hurried to Alpha Hyungsik's cabin and told him the whole story.

"I should have known that prejudiced rascal was up to something." Alpha Hyungsik mumbled in outrage, pinching the bridge of his nose, as the two siblings seated across from him exchanged worried glances.

"But don't worry, I have an idea of who this individual from the Central, Dojin is trying to include, however powerful his position is, Dojin cannot do anything directly, he's just a mere member of the Council." Alpha Hyungsik explained confidently.

"Then the person from the Central that he's going to call, can he do anything?" Jiwoo asked inquisitively.

"He's troublesome, but not very harmful, just another proud Alpha who thinks unnecessarily highly of his status and himself, he's the son of the head of the Central pack Cypress, he might be the same age as you." Alpha Hyungsik gestured towards Hoseok.

"He is still young but he uses his father's position as a pass to poke his nose in everything, from official affairs to personal pack matters." Hyungsik rolled his eyes at just the thought of the prideful Alpha from the Cypress.

Both Jiwoo and Hoseok exhaled a sigh and thanked Alpha Hyungsik for all his help, they decided that all the three of them together will deal with that stingy Alpha whenever he shows up.

With that note, the siblings headed towards the wooden bench near the training field to look for Taehyung.

They found the Omega sitting on the bench with a frown on his face, thinking so deeply about something that he didn't even notice his friends approaching.

"Whose thoughts are you lost in, Tae?" Hobi teased, while both the siblings settled down beside the Omega and put their heads on his shoulders.

Taehyung chuckled lightly and snuggled in the embrace of his friends, seeking warmth in the chilly evening.

"I spoke to my dad about the urgent meeting they had in the central, the Spruce pack was attacked by rogues last week and they killed a few Alphas and Betas and abducted two Omegas." Taehyung began speaking in a grave tone.

"Abducted Omegas!?" Jiwoo gasped in horror.

"Yes, the pack Alpha of the Spruce had fallen sick last month and his health has been deteriorating ever since, they had sent a letter to the Central a few days prior, saying that their pack was not in good condition and they need assistance from them, but no reply came from the Cypress." Taehyung continued.

"That is so unfortunate, before the reply could even come, they were attacked." Jiwoo expressed sadly and Hoseok hummed in agreement.

"There's one thing that is disturbing me though, the Centre called in a meeting for pack Alphas the exact same day we were attacked by rogues too." Taehyung voiced his troubled thoughts as both his friends realized, what the Omega actually meant.

"Both times the absence of leadership of the pack Alpha was taken advantage of, Tae are you really thinking what I am thinking?" Hobi looked at Taehyung, his mind swirling in fear at what conclusion this was leading them too.

"I know I'm making a reckless assumption here, Hyung, but I suspect there is someone in the Central, who is helping the rogues." Taehyung confirmed.
