Jungkook gently pushed the door open into his spacious room, as he put the smiling Omega back onto his feet, on the soft hardwood floor.
Taehyung inhaled the refreshing, mahogany scent of the Alpha that lingered everywhere in the room.
It was an oddly familiar feeling, coming back here again after a handful years.
There was the same large bed next to the wall, the dark curtains that swayed lightly in the breeze slipping in from the full-sized sliding window of the empty balcony, and the metal wind chime that tinkled along in the center.
Most of the things in this room were the same as before, at first glance, yet there were a few changes.
The little things that Taehyung observed, showed that the Alpha had grown up with time.
Now there were twin longswords hanging on the far wall, a small writing desk with a stack of scrolls and papers, occupied a warm corner by the hearth.
The rosewood shelf across the room was bigger now and fuller with different books and metal badges, signifying Jungkook's various achievements at the Snowy Mountains.
The Omega slowly traced the clear outlines of the badges through the transparent showcase, taking in the deserved laurels of the young Alpha's sheer talent with admiration and awe, there was hardly any task in this world that Jungkook was not good at.
"In the mountains, what was it like, apart from the rigorous training I mean, what did you do in your spare time?" Taehyung asked in an afterthought, turning to face the Alpha, who was gazing warmly at him.
"Hmm, well we were pretty much the ruffians of our group, kept pulling pranks and wrestled in raw ice till we couldn't feel our limbs." Jungkook reminisced; his smile brightened at the giggle that the Omega let out upon hearing that.
"That's quite a productive use of your spare time." Taehyung replied, letting out a content sigh as the Alpha reached out and wrapped his arms around him again, pulling him closer by the waist, it was as necessary as oxygen itself, to be in each other's proximity.
Jungkook's eyes were so amorously dark, yet they twinkled with all the endearment in the world, it left Taehyung breathless every single time.
There was no way his heart could take, gazing into them for too long; but the magnetic pull of those obsidian orbs, they always had him finding it harder to look away, nonetheless.
"The actual productive use of my spare time, didn't include any activities of that sort, though," Jungkook spoke softly, almost grinning at the confused raise of the beautiful Omega's eyebrow.
The Alpha could feel his throat run dry all of a sudden, from the wanton urges of his wolf rank, that were taking over him, all thanks to the alluring little creature in his arms.
The way Taehyung's maroon pupils widened in question, the soft tilt of his head, his parted cherry lips, it made it too difficult for Jungkook to hold himself back.
"Then what else, hmm?" Taehyung innocently pondered, unaware of the struggle of his lover, who looked like he was seconds away from devouring him.
"Oh right! You used to paint, you were amazing at it, I remember us painting together near the cliff and-" The Omega was abruptly silenced, by a sudden ardent kiss, that swallowed whatever he was going to say, he immediately closed his eyes feeling himself melting away, beneath the Alpha's sturdy frame.
Jungkook was kissing him with passion, Taehyung did not even realize when his back was pressed against the wall, he let his hands entangle in the Alpha's lush hair, as butterflies raided his stomach like never before.
