The procedure of enrolling Remus at 'Winter River Middle School' was quite simple. They got there and had a look around, gaining a sense of the new schedule and how things worked. It was absolutely different, and he wasn't quite prepared for it. He enjoyed the structure of his former high school, which consisted of two one-hour classes, a brief tutor session, a 15-minute break, another hour lesson, a 30-minute lunch, and two one-hour classes. He anticipated that adjusting to the new layout would take some time. A week later, he went for his first day. He wanted to bring the demon with him, but he didn't want to be seen with an adult. Fortunately, the demon discovered a loophole. becoming invisible. The demon utilised his powers to ensure he was not noticed as he passed past the school gates with Remus. Remus smiled a silent goodbye and pushed open the school's frigid metal doors. He searched the backs of his hands for his locker number, which he discovered easily. He merely double-checked that it would open before heading to the office to meet the person who would be assisting him.

"Hello, I assume you're Remus; how are you doing today?" Remus grinned as the lady he guessed to be the principal shook his hand.

"Good. A little anxious." He confessed.

"That's perfectly natural. If it's okay, I'd want to double-check your information one last time" He was questioned by her. Remus muttered something. "Excuse me?" the teacher inquired.

"Sorry. I have a speech impediment. I reduce words in half if i'm not stuttering. I said, it's alright to double-check the details." Remus giggled at himself.

"That's okay. Do you mind if I put that in the system so that teachers are aware of it?" She gave a kind grin.

"Yeah. That's good."

"Great. By the way, I like your accent. What exactly is it?"

"Yorkshire."

"Really? I imagined you'd drink a cup of tea and converse 'like this.'" In an RP British accent, she remarked playfully.

"To be honest, I'm not a huge tea drinker. I'm a big fan of hot chocolate." Remus informed her.

"Is that cocoa?"

"Yeah."

"This is a great drink. Is it possible for me to confirm your date of birth? ". It was confirmed by Remus.

"Address?". Remus confirmed the rest of his details along with Betelgeuse's.

"I was informed that someone will help me today?" Remus inquired.

"Right," the lady said as she moved to the opposite side of the room, where they were greeted by a 5ft 11 female dressed casually in jeans and shirts.

"She'll be showing you around, Remus." The woman entered an office and went away. The girl was the first to speak out, a little smile on her face.

"Cortney Wyman. How are you doing?" She extended her hand.

"Oh, okay, my name is Remus, Remus Lupin.". Cortney pretended to howl as he shook her hand. "Yes, it's a fantastic name(!) I know. "I understand." They stepped outside, Remus chuckling.

"We have a similar routine, but our professors are different. Our rooms are rather near together, so just follow me and ask any questions you may have." Cortney led Remus down the tiled corridor to a classroom. "Okay, now it's math. The teacher is a strict one" Before crossing the hall and entering her lesson, Cortney giggled and pointed at the door. "I'll see you later." she added as she closed the door behind her. When Remus opened the door, he was embarrassed by the throng of children who stared at him. Remus sat down on an unoccupied table in the back corner, thinking to himself, 'Don't look them in the eye, just sit down.'
