the news spread like wildfire across the students of yuuei school. the murder of the mall was the recurring title of that day, unfortunately, the students of class 1-a weren't there to stop the plans of y/n. speaking of 1-a, a particular person in that class had a fair share of glances ever since that day.

izuku midoriya.

apart from the defeating of the hero-killer, midoriya and y/n have never crossed paths before. after that night, midoriya had one of those midnight thoughts of y/n, she looked very familiar to the little girl who caused a fire in an old orphanage in jaku city.

regardless of that, it felt as if everyone in the school assumed that midoriya and y/n had some type of relationship: some said a friendship, others (kaminari and mineta mostly) romantic relationship.

deku couldn't blame them, considering that she did kiss him on the cheek. it was bold of them to think that izuku midoriya could get a beautiful yet dangerous girl like that, people like kacchan or even todoroki could handle a girl like that.

never mind that, he was most intrigued by her quirk. earlier today, aizawa showed his class the clips of y/n fighting. he claimed that y/n was more than capable of becoming a strong and high-ranking hero.

that's without using her quirk.

speaking of her quirk, her quirk was stealing quirks, similar to monoma. however, in order for monoma to use his power, he needs to physically touch someone, as for y/n, all she needs is the name of power. deku was the only one who knows how y/n's quirk functions, well, the basics anyway.

he had to find that out the harsh way

midoriya would like to know more about her as a person, as well as her power. he asked iida for details, but all he stated was y/n was going to kill him if her lollipop dropped onto the ground, and didn't claim to be a villain.

y/n was a peculiar person, yet so interesting.

the green-haired hero, alongside his classmates, resigned to their dormitory as today's sunset and the night's wind ran wild. half of the class decided to bake some cookies while the rest remained to lie on the sofa, watching sato, jirou, and mineta play with snakes and ladders.

"so...?" denki sparked a conversation, resting his arms on the back of the dark green sofa where midoriya and iida sat.

"aren't we not going to discuss the elephant in the room: we literally met the crazy hot villain!" the boy's heart fluttered at the convenient thought of the girl as the window slammed shut.

"did you forget the part where she knows everyone's powers!?" jirou sarcastically scolded her love-struck friend, "that girl is non-stoppable."

"and sexy!" mineta choked on his saliva, only to be kicked on the back by an invisible girl, the boy coughed, "i'm surprised midoriya got that her!"

"i didn't get her!" midoriya protested completely flustered, placing his pen on top of his notebook, "i don't even know her like that."

"so you know her?" todoroki interrogated from the door.

izuku explained, "only from that stain fight, that's all. i met her again at the mall today, i didn't want to assume she was a villain, nor did i. the girl seemed really nice."

midoriya wasn't going to give them all the details he thought of y/n. he didn't even mention her name. nor was he too sure of y/n's niceness, in retrospect, she did purposely try to find out his quirk but luckily for her found out his classmates' instead.

"midoriya, she's a villain!" iida declared boldly gripping his fist, "villains aren't nice, they're evil."

"iida, don't you think that's a bit intense?" hagekure questioned cautiously, bringing over a plate filled with various types of cookies and placing them on the table.

"the girl was going to kill me if her lollipop she threw into the sky hit the ground!" iida yelled.

shocking enough, bakugou chuckled, "for a villain, she got quite the sense of humour. she just said your life was worth less than a lollipop. evil but funny."

"i'm on iida's side with this one," momo sat beside tenya nibbling on a cookie, she confessed baffled by him and bakugou, "that's incredible inhumane!"

"you guys, is this the girl you're talking about?" sato placed his silver laptop onto the table. on the screen, there was a mugshot of y/n herself next to the picture were her details, "found this on some dodgy website known for its accurate theories on people."

"lord have mercy.." denki stepped away after one looking at y/n's sinister yet beautiful expression on her roughed up face.

bakugou scoffed, "how the hell is she our age and capable of doing all that?"

"i think this might part might help," sero pointed at a paragraph. he stated as trailed each line with his finger, "the new all for one, y/n shigaraki, was once a normal child to two deceased parents and lived in an orphanage. it has been recently reported that shigaraki (as in y/n) was at one point quirkless. when she was five years old, the child accidentally burnt down her entire orphanage in mosu and murdering every single person living there. a source has informed us that she ran off and came across all for one, the man who took her in. the person who gave the child her power."

"that poor girl." midoriya empathised sitting back on the sofa. it's always a common theme with the most infamous villains to have such a traumatic backstory. "she probably felt forced to become a villain."

"oddly enough," tenya returned to his normal tone as he fixed his glasses, "y/n was quick to declare to stain and i that she wasn't a villain, nor a hero."

"what a strange girl..." tokoyami stated plainly.

"let's not waste more time on y/n." momo changed the subject as the some of the ones who didn't bake the cookies did the cleaning up, "we only saw her once, and that was probably our last. let's get some sleep, shall we?"

the class yawned like a sleepy choir, as an invisible girl, turned off the lights, ending another day.

"gross..."
