the young child left her father's side, watching the many students of yuuei high rush into the school with bright smiles and quirks to show off. it's been a few months since y/n received her quirk, it wasn't an acceptable one but powerful, which always put a little smile on her face.

all for one looked over and saw y/n staring into the walls of the school, he sighed before walking towards her and lifting her, placing her on his hip.

"what's wrong, y/n?" he asked softly as he continued their journey.

"i don't know..." y/n shrugged before playing with her sleeves, "i kinda got lost in my head again."

her father chuckled, "you do that a lot, huh?"

"it helps with things," the child sheepishly admitted.

imagining herself in different realities filled with many different kinds of people, who were oblivious to her real self and loved her, was the perfect escape from her real world. ever since the incident, y/n has tried everything she could to make those thoughts go away, and it seemed to fake it was the way of curing the truth.

"is being a villain that bad, dad?" little y/n questioned, fiddling with his red tie.

shigaraki sighed, "indeed, y/n. people just don't want to know how we feel inside. they don't understand our intentions of aiding our desires, supplying money, and food and making our lives have some value of quality. not all illegal acts that people do have bad intentions behind them. but ones that do are something our society expects from us villains. we should take pride in that, give them what they want and make them — for lack of a better word —  suffer for it."

"i don't like that word, villain," the little girl stated plainly before referring to the previous conversation, "i don't like to be alone either."

"i know sweetheart," shigaraki reassured, smiling down at his child with kind eyes, he smiled sweetly,"in this current situation in your life y/n, i'm the only one who cares for you. okay?"

"okay, dad." y/n chuckled feeling his fingers tickle her neck, hugging him tightly, "i love you!"

"i love you most."

* * *

it seemed that y/n had left quite the impression on ua. you're probably wondering how she got into the school, well i'm not going to tell you because you already read it. the reason why she was there was to learn more about class 1-a, a class she apparently will be spending more time with because of tomura's plans.

that blonde guy was, y/n like him, not romantically, for obvious reasons. she was stunned at how he understood her. in spite of that, the iida guy was getting on her nerves. the boy should appreciate the fact that she actually protected his life. no one protected hers, only all for one, her father.

lastly, she never expected midoriya to be empathetic towards her since she did manipulate him into telling him his quirk but only for him to expose some of his classmates' powers. that was first, honestly. only her father and occasionally tomura would be empathetic towards her, it made the girl smile a little.

it confused her. it confused her immensely.

the girl quickly put her clothes back on behind a bush and rushed over to the entrance to meet tomura awaiting her arrival.

"find anything interesting?" the cyan haired villain questioned, standing next to the entrance.

"opinions about me!" y/n boosted as they walked away into the night sky, "good and bad."

"of course," tomura scoffed, putting his hands in his pocket, "anyways. are you sure to join us? you could stay with kurogiri and i, if you want?"

in a few days was the invasion of the u.a's quirk training camp by the league of villain and the vanguard action squad. their goal was to get certain students and force them to join the league of villains.
y/n has never met the vanguard action squad yet, apparent from dabi, spinner and toga from earlier. let's just say spinner confused y/n, toga interested y/n and dabi petrified and pissed off y/n.

"i'll have to see what dad wants from me," y/n declared only making her partner sigh in annoyance.

shigariki demanded as the pair got inside tomura's car, "but what do you want?"

"i don't know, honestly," the girl simply shrugged, she backtracked, "actually, i think i'll stay here, that dabi guy getting on my nerves, he reminds me of someone."

tomura nodded as he drove down the city, "really, why? is it because he called you doll-face?" the villain smirked at that word.

"no way, ew!" y/n cringed as if her mouth tasted sour lemons, she stated briefly, "his quirk."

"oh..." was all tomura had to say.

when he was a kid, he vaguely remembered the news of an orphanage, at first he couldn't care less because at least the kids there received help, even though they were all dead. now, knowing the unfortunate girl behind it, tomura had grown a sense of empathy towards it, particularly y/n. if it wasn't obvious, y/n had developed pyrophobia; a fear of fire. the slightest sight of fire can trigger fast heart beating, trembling, nausea and even fainting and panic attacks.

it wasn't long until y/n arrived home, the girl said her goodbyes to tomura and rushed into her home.

an exhausted y/n collapsed onto her bed, feeling the wave of slumber beginning to wash over her. today was a long and energy-packed day, and yet after all of the stuff, she's done the one thing that replayed in her head over and over again was midoriya.

and she despised it. the concept of a hero empathising with a villain was never heard of!

someone who she assumed will hate her after what she did today but didn't — well rather didn't act as if he hated her. it bewildered y/n for the rest of the night; she couldn't sleep, and y/n adored her slumber.

the delinquent arose from her long-waited slumber. she groaned at the throbbing pain plaguing her mind as she made her way to the kitchen greeted by her father sitting at the dinner table.

"morning y/n," all for one greeted his child plainly, the girl waved at waddled over to the fridge. he stated, "saw your little stunt on television today. 'all for one's successor strikes the city'! i'm proud of you, y/n."

"thank you!" the girl couldn't help but smile.
y/n always wanted to make her father proud in everything that she does. the girl felt as if she needed to repay him for everything she was given him. that day, he was there to cure her sadness, loneliness and fear.

all for one is all y/n had. and y/n wouldn't know what to do when she loses him.

and y/n wouldn't know what to do when she loses him
