the most merriest day has finally arrived. y/n stood by her bedroom door watching the kids of the foster home run down the hall, with screams and yells of joy. y/n would be excited for the day ahead if the other day conversation with kira didn't play on and on in her head. she wasn't one for letting her emotions get the best of her, since she'd rather bottled them up and worry about them another day, but kira was her friend and she didn't want to lose her.
"hey, hey!" y/n jumped onto kira's bed and shook kira's shoulders, trying to wake her up. the girl awoke from her sleep and frowned at the sight of y/n on top of her. "i'm sorry for upsetting you the other day, i was just a little frustrated. that's all."
"it's okay!" kira yawned, rubbing her tiredness off of her eyes. she pulled y/n into a hug, making the girl jump in shock a little but she soon gave in. "i forgive you!"
i think she missed the message, you see, y/n apologised for upsetting her, not for the words she said. y/n still stands by her statement, but whatever makes her happy.
"you two!" one of the caretakers called out from the door. "i see you two are finally friends now. come on, christmas dinner isn't gonna eat itself!"
