"The Creator? Don't make me laugh!" Nightmare sneered "You think I believe in your little fairy tales? Next you're going to tell me that the Destroyer is also real!"

Frisk, who could see Error and Blue making their way through Dusttale, only kept smiling, and made sure to let Nightmare feel all of their satisfaction, amusement and confidence.
"You can believe what you want Guardian, it won't change the facts. The Creator won't let all the AUs you erased stay that way, and there's nothing you can do about it." At this point, the child made their nervousness and uncertainty seep through, to make themselves seem like a liar.

Nightmare tilted his skull a bit, sending them a calculating look. Behind him, Dream was making the same expression (though neither of the twins noticed), and Frisk knew that, after they got out, they'd have some explaining to do.

"You sound awfully sure about that."
"Of course I'm sure! You can't reach them in the Heart of the Multiverse, and they're immortal anyway! As long as they're inside the Multiverse, you lose!" Act like an overconfident brat, give him information "accidentally"; Frisk was lucky that they still looked like a child, as it helped in moments like this, when they needed to be underestimated.

Now it was the moment of truth: would Nightmare take the bait? Fresh kept the details of what they needed to do vague, claiming that knowing too much would mess everything up, but the goal was clear: make Nightmare believe that he had to find and kill the Creator.

The negative Guardian smirked again, while Dream looked panicked. "'As long as they're inside the Multiverse'? Why child, did you forget that your precious Omega Timeline is not part of the Multiverse? I will find the Creator, bring them here and kill them, and there's nothing you can do about it!"
Hook, line and sinker.

Frisk then brought out everything they felt in the past week, their fear, resentment, uncertainty, rage, powerlessness, and made sure Nightmare felt it all, to make him think he was right; he smirked even wider.

Dream tried to keep his suspicion to a minimum, so that Nightmare wouldn't notice; Frisk was not the type to make such mistakes, even if they were sometimes childish, so that meant that they had a plan, and he trusted them enough to go along with it.

Suddenly, two new presences appeared very close to them, near the outside of the tent.

One was enraged but also excited, while the other was hopeful but sorrowful; Dream was pretty sure the latter it was Blue, but he couldn't understand why or how his friend was there, or who he was with.
It was obvious his brother felt them too, as he turned his skull toward their general direction with confusion.
Dream instead looked at Frisk, who didn't seem surprised, but was rather tense: they were probably focusing their omniscience on the two.

"Who's-"

The familiar sound of a Gaster Blaster charging was heard, multiple times, and then shooting, panic, fighting. Nightmare's confusion became rage.

"ภι𝑔𝓱t𝓂a尺乇! ᶜᗝ𝓂乇 ᗝ𝓾t үᗝ𝓾 ᗷaรta尺𝓓!(NIGHTMARE! COME OUT YOU BASTARD!)"

His brother's anger spiked, and he let go of Dream to deal with the intruders, throwing him to the ground.

Frisk immediately ran towards him, reaching inside their eyes to take out a dagger and a healing item, a slice of butterscotch pie. They got behind Dream to cut his ropes, then handed him the item.
"Who's outside?" asked Dream with urgency, before taking a bite.
"Blue and the Destroyer."

Dream choked. "What?!"

"That's not important right now. They're the distraction. No, they're not with us" they answered Dream's unspoken question "They were already coming, and I used them." They then reached inside their eyes again and handed Dream his staff "Can you create a portal?"
