Judith's Point of View
Soon, I became so uneasy that I could not concentrate on the message being preached. It would've really made me happy if Blossom was here to listen.

"Everything alright?" Daniel whispered as he reached for my hand, "You look troubled."

"It's Blossom" I replied, "Shouldn't she be back by now?"

"Hm, yeah it's been quite some time," he agreed, " I'm going to handle it and check on her, but I want you to stay and enjoy the sermon."

I was anxious at first, but his warm grin comforted me as he gave my clutched hand a gentle squeeze. I watched him as he got up and left. I slightly slumped in my seat, trying to ease my mind as I listened.

Blossom's POV

"Tastyy!"

My thumb strategically maneuvered around my phone screen, trying to complete level 332 which I've been stuck on for two weeks. Suddenly, there was knocking on the door. I became startled and turned off my phone, so I could hear my surroundings better.

"Blossom, are you in there?"

It was just my Aunt's boyfriend. That's when I realized how long I've been in this stall playing Candy Crush. I mean...can you blame me? The atmosphere in there is just weird.

I quickly gathered myself together as I shouted, " Yes, I'll be out in a minute!"

I washed my hands then, I came out to meet Daniel standing against the wall parallel to the bathroom door, folding his arms.

"Everything alright?" He asked with a neutral face, " You took pretty long in there."

I giggled nervously, "Yeah, maybe I ate something bad."

His right eyebrow raised immediately, "So, you weren't just playing candy crush for the past 45 minutes?"

"Wait, how did you know?" I looked at him confused.

"Blossom, if you're going to do that, then at least lower the volume next time," he rolled his eyes, " I could hear it from outside the door."

"I apologize."

"No, no, don't apologize to me; you should apologize to your aunt who's in there worried in there about you," he spoke in a stern, yet calm manner, "For her sake, let's just tell her you had a case of the bubble guts because if she knew what you were actually doing, it would make her feel bad."

I couldn't even respond because he's actually right. My aunt was looking forward to doing this with me and I just flaked on her. Imagine, you're out with a friend and she leaves you hanging for nearly an hour. Then, to find out that she's been playing games in the bathroom. I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty pissed off.

"Please, just get it together...at least for her, " he pleaded before heading back inside.

I kinda stood there feeling a bit embarrassed of what I did. I'm so glad it was Daniel who came instead of my Aunt. After a minute or two, I made my way back inside. Once again, I was bombarded with a thousand pairs of eyes.

I squeezed through the row then, sat by my aunt. She looked over at me as if she was waiting for an explanation. I was fearful that Daniel told her the truth, but she looked more concerned than angry.
