Chapter 4- Isn't it lovely, all alone?

I have no clue what's going on. One moment I'm sleeping, then the next, I'm being violently woken up and told to follow Kai.

It was a long corridor with the same sights. Boring. But I didn't tell Kai I thought it was boring, that's a death wish in itself.

Eri was being carried, but I couldn't quite make out the face since I was still tired. A lovely girl a bit older than me named Tayah was gently holding my hand.

"Where are we going?" I asked her. Unlike Kai, she allowed me to speak. She was very kind and babysat me and Eri once in a while.

She didn't reply, so I asked again. This time, though she replied to my question.

"The heroes found us, we're changing locations... If the heroes do manage to saw you try to escape will ya? Wouldn't want you growing up to be like me."

"Where will you be?" I questioned.

"Probably in jail, kid, the shit that goes on here is illegal. I can buy you guys time, but I can't do more than that, when the heroes come...leave me, don't look back, and run it's what's best."

As much as I wanted to make sure she was joking, that look in her eyes made me know she was serious. She has never hurt us, yet she most likely will go to jail. Those heroes just do what they want. As usual.

"There is an old bar not far from here, go to a metal door with the number 2 on it" she began telling me.

"Knock on it 5 times in an interval of 2 seconds each. Once you do, someone will open the door, Dabi...my brother, he will let you in as long as you say you're sent here under my protection."

"T...this is a lot to take in..." I said

"Take whoever you want with you... but if you decide not to go that's also ok, just stay safe Akito."

Then she hugged me,

I've seen affection in movies, I guess this is what it feels like.

"I might not see you for a while, so this is goodbye until we meet again."

I sniffled and returned the hug.

"Tayah, carry the boy and keep walking, we have no time to stop." Hari Kurono, who is also known as Chronostatis, said, as he was now carrying Eri.

"Just hurry up, Kai hates to wait."

"I know, jeez chillax,"

She then gently picked me up as if I was a fragile piece of glass.

We walked and walked and walked until Tayah was starting to wobble a little, but she didn't mention it, so I did.

"A-are you ok, Tay?"

"I'll be fine, Akito, I've dealt with worse."

She kept wobbling a bit, but I guess she seemed to notice it and steadied herself and kept walking.

"Seems that one of the heroes has a permeation quirk and is approaching us fast."

And as soon as he said that, we see the same man I met in the alleyway on my birthday.
