I slip on my night gear and look at myself in the mirror. I lost a bit of weight, these skin tight clothes are kind of loose.

"After this, I'll get myself a juicy burger," I promise to myself.

I grab my gun and throw it over my shoulder walking out. I see Gojo and Nanami waiting for me.

"You guys don't look too bad," I say.

"I could get used to this view," I hear Toji's voice from behind me.

I grit my teeth and turn around slapping him. He grabs my hand before I can hit his face. "We need to get along, princess."

"Tch," I relax my grip and he lets go of my arm.

I turn back towards Nanami. "What if it doesn't work out."

"I'll be talking to you the whole time. Make sure to follow my directions. If there's no opening, don't take a shot. I know you got a good aim, but we can't just base this mission on that."

"Fine, let's go and get this over with."

I throw my gun to the next floor and start climbing the stairs. Toji right under me.

"You know, guys like girls with more meat on their bones," he says as we both make it up on the roof.

I ignore him and set up my gun. I lay down and look through the scope. I get a perfect angle of the party.

"You all set up there, Mina?" I hear Nanami's voice say on my earpiece.

"Yeah, I am," I say.

"His man is not out yet since Mahito hasn't made an appearance yet. You can just relax for now, I'll alert you when he comes out," he says. "Try to talk to Fushiguro."

I sit back up and lean against the ledge.

"You heard the man, we should get to know each other," he says.

"I don't care about your history," I say.

A cold breeze goes by. I slightly shiver. Probably should've grabbed a jacket.

"How old are you?" He asks me.

"25," I say turning back around to check on the party.

"Oh damn, you're pretty young. I'm 28," he says.

"Okay," I say uninterested.

"How's your dad's car place doing?" he asks me, causing me to turn around.

"How do you know about that?" I ask.

"Megumi used to walk there after school for you to babysit him," he says.

"Do you stalk me?" I ask.

"Nope, I watch Megumi. You might think of me as an asshole father that left his son, but it's for him. It's all for him," he says looking out in the distance.

"You're saying that leaving your son, without a biological relative, is the best for him? Do you know how much he has to go through?" I ask, getting angry.

"Biology doesn't matter. You choose who's family to you," he says holding my gaze.

"You don't get to choose for Megumi. Whatever your excuse was, I won't forgive you for that," I say.

He sighs. "So what's your favorite color?"

I look at him confused. "What type of question is that?"

"I mean, if we're getting to know each other, we should know our favorite colors," he says.

"I don't have one," I say.

"Come on, everyone has one," he says.

I scoff. Unwillingly, my mind goes to think about it. What is my favorite color? What do I enjoy to look at?

"Green," I say looking away from him to check again.

"Like your eyes," he says.

"Like the forest," I correct. "My dad used to take me camping every break."

I realize I overshared and I blush. The sound on my earpiece saves me from more embaressment.

"Mina, we need to call off the mission. He's near too many people," Nanami says.

I look through my scope. He's not wrong. There's at least 4 woman near him. No, I came here to do this job. I've done this millions of times. "I can do it."

"No, Mina. Stand down, do you hear me?" He says.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see Toji. There's no teasing look on his face. "Do you really think you can do it?" He asks me.

I think about it for a minute. Then, I nod my head. "I know I can."

He contemplates, then lets go of me. "Do it."

I look back through the scope. Nanami's voice slowly fading. Everything else fades except the target. I take a slow breath, concentrating as hard as I've ever concentrated. I have to get this right. If I don't, I screw up this whole mission. On my exhale, I press the trigger. Everything goes in slow motion. I watch as the bullet spins through the air. But as I promised, the bullet goes straight through his head. The target falls back, hitting the floor. I smile to myself. Another one. My mind snaps back and I hear distant screaming. The women start running away from him and so does everyone else. I quickly put my gun back in it's sleeve and turn around. I see a smirking Toji.

"That's my girl," he says holding out a hand for me.

I hesitate, but I grab it, letting him help me up.

"Now come on, princess. We gotta go before we get caught," He says.
