It's been hours since I've actually seen light. My heads still in a bag. But I can breath. Thankfully, one of the Brookeman Girls have given me a piece of bread, and some apple juice. I'm not sure if it was Claudia though. I have a feeling she's the nicest one in the group.

"Wake up you ass," one of the girls commanded.

"I'm not a donkey," I scoffed.

A hard smack was planted against my cheek.
"Don't be a smart mouth with me bitch."

"Who are you?"

"Laura, now stop asking so many god damn questions. We're just..borrowing you for a while. It's not like we're torturing you-god."

Laura? I quickly remembered Laura's familiar name. She's the second Brookeman Girl. Just like James told me about.

The bag was stripped off my face. Allowing me to visibly see all the things around me. In front of me stood Claudia. Her face looking pale, her hands shaking, and her lips trembling.
"Are you okay?" She spoke uneasily. "Did they hurt you yet?"
I raised an eyebrow. Yet? Were they going to hurt me?

"No," I mumbled.

"Good. That's good. They usually kill the victim within the first hour of their kidnapping. Maybe they'll let you go," Claudia hoped.
Why was she helping me? Isn't she part of the Brookeman Girls too? The group of girls that want to kill me?

"Why are you trying to help me?"

Claudia looked up. Her eyes were watery. Her makeup was smeared all over, and her cheeks had no red in them left.

"Your not like them...are you?" I answered for her.

Claudia rose up from my side. And a slight change in her face made her look uneasy. She looked so hollow. Her eyes lost.
She frowned at me.
"I'm a Brookeman Girl. So shut the fuck up," she said in an low tone. "I was wrong. You should d-die."

The things she said made her scary, the way she said it made her sound like she didn't mean it.

But either way, I had to get out.
