"Are you ready?"
NOW
"Ready for wha-"
Laura yanked the wires out of my arms, and Claudia gave her the scissors. At first, I though Laura might stab me constantly until I died. But, she just snipped off the ropes that kept me attached to the chair.
"Read it," Laura ordered Claudia.
She stepped up with the book opened.
"Any hostage of the Brookeman Girls must follow orders, and agree to the transformation the Brookeman Girls give them. They may not repeat to others what they've seen in the Brookeman Girls hideout, or done.
They must agree to the rules we display here. And may not try to escape. Or they shall be sentenced to d....death..." Claudia choked on the last word. But I can tell why.So I'm a hostage?
Laura and Claudia left the room. And someone else appeared.
They had blond hair, nice eyes, and a sneaky grin.
"A-Audrey. Please..." I looked up at her, my face was sweating. From all the torture. My eyes fell on the white ground. There's nothing I can do."Stop this. Why do you want me as hostage?"
Audrey walked around me in a circle.
I shifted in the chair a little.
"Why...wouldn't I?" She questioned."Because I haven't done anything to deserve this!" I shouted.
"Neither have they. But I still do it."
They? There's more?
"Who else have you kidnapped!?" I screamed. This is crazy. This is...this is what the Brookeman Girls do.
It's their life's work."Not many people...just the whole neighbor hood," Audrey smiled.
"Have they died?"
"I don't kill them. You don't get this, these are the rules. I'm the leader. I follow the rules."
"Who made up the rules!?"
Audrey stayed silent for a bit.
"My....my mother..."I looked at the emptiness on her face. Nothing was there. No emotion, or anything. Just blankness.
"Please don't do this." I said.
Audrey looked up at me, all that moment of clarity for her was gone. And she returned to being the cruel bitch she was.
"Lock her up!" She commanded.
Laura came into the room, and grabbed me. Lifting me out of the white room, and into a dark cellar.
"No! No! No!!" I screamed, kicking and tears running down my face. But she was too strong for me to escape.
Laura threw me into the cell. And I landed hard on the concrete floor.
She was closing the door, and I ran up to it trying to get out. But it was too late. The door was closed. And it was just too late.I'm never getting out of here.
