A smoke bomb was thrown in the room leaving all the guards and workers unconscious.

That's when 3racha entered the factory, protected by gas masks. After the smoke disappear, they took them off.

Changbin went to lock the people in a room. They didn't want any of them to call the police after all.

Chan noticed how silent was Jisung all the way there. Changbin didn't cause he was the driver, but Chan stared at the boy and not even once did they make eye contact.

-Ji, you ok?

-Do you know everything?

Chan was confused, but he saw the hatred in Jisung's eyes.

-Everything like what?

-Everything...High school...That day... The day I-

He couldn't finnish the sentence. It was too painful for him to remember.

-The day you got in the police's attention for hurting four students, one ending up blind and the other three with burns all over their skin? Yeah. I know. I also know they deserved it.

Jisung wiped his face with the sleeves.

-Let's get over with this! Let's steal some money!

Chan put his hand on Jisung's shoulder to stop him. In the exact same time Changbin returned confused.

-You might have mistaken my intention. We are not here to rob the money. We are here to destroy it.

-What? Jisung and Changbin said in synch.

Chan was smirking proud now that he got their attention.

-This factory has already been robbed. Last week. They worked so clean and even replaced every dollar bill with fake ones. We can't let the fake money go in the economy. So we are gonna burn them.

Jisung's jaw dropped. Maybe Chan wasn't that bad as he thought. But he couldn't know that for sure. Chan was unpredictable.

-That's why I need Changbin to open the safe and Jisung to play the role of the arsonist, Chan added. Did you guys really thought I'm gonna rob a factory?

They both nodded faster than Chan expected.

Changbin put his all force into opening with his bare hands the safe. And he did it.

-There you go! Your turn, Ji! he said feeling his arms starting to feel sore.

-Wait a minute! If we burn it down, the smoke is gonna kill us. We need to close the door back after we set the money on fire. But we still have to know where the money are completely destroyed, so we can withdraw. We cannot let a fire unsupervised.

-Any idea then? asked Chan knowing Jisung is smart enough to find a solution.

-Actually yes!

He took out of his backpack some bottles with different solutions and started combining them.

-If you don't tell us what you're doing, we are gonna think you're trying to kill us with poison, joked Changbin.

-It's basic chemistry. Some potassium chlorate oxidizer, lactose or dextrin as fuel and some colorant as your preference, he basically rapped being focused to not spil something on him.

-Chan, can you translate? asked Changbin feeling a thousand times dumber than he felt that morning.

-He is making colourful smoke. If he sets the money on fire and puts a different colour on the bottom, we will be able to know when all the money have burned. That's smart, Ji!

After he finished mixing the solution, he asked Changbin and Chan to help him spread the liquid on the money. He waved to them to step back, then he took a lighter and threw it inside.
Changbin close the door and the factory started slowly to fill with blue smoke.

-It worked! We can leave when the smoke turns red.

They stayed like that half an hour before Changbin started coughing. Jisung told them to put their masks on while he checks the other rooms for the money.

Chan was at the entry door waiting for the other members, but Changbin followed Jisung not wanting to let him alone.

-Ji, don't you need a mask too?

-It's ok. I can handle it.

-What? You used to smoke or something?

-No, but a lot of people I used to hang out did. They were bad people. No matter how hard I tried, it was always the same. Bad people everywhere. Wanting the same things. Money and pleasure. The world spins around these two. You pay one with another.

Changbin sensed the sadness in Jisung's voice. He rushed towards him and backhugged him.

-You never talk about such deep stuff. It's nice to hear your opinion on some subjects. I won't judge.

Jisung started crying in his palms, being hunted by his past.

-You know, I'm not dumb, added Changbin. When I first met you, I saw how you flinch at men. You walk trough the house in the middle of the night and when you sip from your tea you tremble. I don't have any idea what you've been trough, but for me you're a survivor.

-Ji, Bin! They are here! announced Chan with a loud shout.

They both returned to their team holding hands. Changbin didn't take his eyes off Jisung.

Minho saw that and got jealous. He wanted to split them apart, but Chan stopped him.

-Listen, guys! I need you to stay here until all the money have burned, ok? Mafia and police are on their way. Don't let them distract you from this mission. Stay together, fight as a team! Changbin, go to the van and take care of Seungmin! ...I want you all to know that you are truly my family. Even tho I've never shown it to you. I truly love having you around me.

-Why are you talking like that? asked Jeongin getting anxious.

Chan walked towards him and threw his hand through the younger's hair.

-I have to leave you on your own this time, he said with a faint smile.

-Where are you going? Channie hyung?

-I need to meet with some old friends. I haven't played Russian roulette in a long time, he uttered before exiting the room.

-Guys! Chan turned off his comunication device, yelled Seungmin through the ear piece. Something feels off...

Please appreciate that I searched online how to create colour smoke (I am so bad at chemistry). My FBI agent is probably traumatised by now. Next chapters are Jisung's backstory, so you can understand his character better. Thank you for keep reading!
