lustful retribution

The autumn breeze swept over Koko's fur, encapsulating him in what would have been a chill, but thankfully his feline fur was enough to keep him warm. The wind was stiff. His long tail wavered in it, dangling out of the park bench. Each passerby gave him a funny, uneven look, for he was wearing nothing other than skin and his white robes.

Buzz. His cellphone drew his attention, pulling his eyes closer to where the top of the screen read: "Message from Master."

He tapped it. The list of past messages was incredibly long. At least hundreds, if not thousands, of texts had been sent back and forth between him and Master, all of which being commands from Master and Koko replying robotically with acceptance. Koko looked eagerly at the newest one, his silent eyes reading carefully, wishfully.

"Find a couple," said the text. Koko's brow rose. A couple? He scanned the park slowly, taking into account the vast majority of people that were out walking or pushing baby carriages and the little group of vagabonds at the edge of the treeline. But most of these people were alone. There appeared to be no couple.

That is, until Koko looked once more, a harder search, and this time he found the faint image of two unsuspecting figures in the distance behind a gathering of trees. From the looks of it, they seemed to be girlfriend and boyfriend, if not husband and wife. He nodded to himself. Acquired.

"And then what, Master?" he texted the person back. Almost immediately, Master began typing.

"Tell them to find Hooters. Make it sound like you are advertising the place. If they accept, your job will be easy. Follow them. And there, you will find the ones that escaped. Bring them back at any and all costs."

Koko felt himself flare up with new purpose. He left the bench, his eyes gazing off toward his chosen subjects, his white robe flowing in the breeze, and he silently stepped into what Master liked to call the answer to retribution.
