Chapter 7- Burned Pancakes and Wolf Laws!
I woke up on a soft bed and there was a heavy arm draped over my chest. Wait! An arm? Where am I? Then I looked around and saw one of Damen's shirts. All the past events flooded onto my head as I realized that I must've fallen asleep last night and so did Damen.
I blushed as I realized that I just slept in a bed with my mate. I slowly picked up his arm and lightly moved it up me. He stirred a bit but didn't wake up.
I ran to the bathroom, I couldn't hold it much longer. I almost urinated my pants. After I got that business done, I took a shower and tightly wrapped a towel around my body and found a set of clothes.
I didn't hear anyone come in hear but whatever. I put on my clothes and went looking for Damen. I smelled something delightful and followed the aroma.
I found myself in a kitchen with Damen cooking.
"Where's everyone else?" I ask
"Oh, there at training" he responded
He was wearing pajama paints and a loose shirt.
"Everyone?" I ask with curiosity
"Everyone but me" said a male voice from the door in the other side of room.
He stepped into the light and I saw a sleepy looking Rob. He winked at me and gave me a smile. I blushed and giggled but only to mess with Damen not because I liked the flirting.
I heard a growl from Damen and I chuckled. I smelled something burning and realized that Damen was too busy glaring at Rob to notice the pancakes which were on FIRE!!
"Damen!" I yelled his head snapped up to my face as I pointed to the pan.
He looked at the pan and looked completely calm. HOW COULD HE BE CALM, THERE WAS FIRE!!
Like the spaz I am, I run towards a corner to grab a fire extinguisher and trip. I land on my face and my shirt rolls upwards. Rob helps me up and I straighten my shirt. WOW, real attractive! Please note the sarcasm.
I still grab the fire extinguisher and rush towards the pan. I pull off the cord and slam on the trigger. A foamy, white stuff sprayed out. I didn't just get the pan but I also sprayed a very surprised Damen that now had a white face.
He wiped the stuff of his eyes and I dropped to the floor laughing!
I grabbed my sides and was shaking like a mad man. Damen and Rob looked at me like I was crazy which only made me laugh that much harder.
Tears where streaming down my face and my stomach hurt. Damen smirked at me evilly and I stopped laughing. He scooped a big scoop of the stuff and walked over to me.
"You think this is funny?" He asked
He took a step closer and my heart stopped. I knew exactly what he was going to do. He swiftly closed the distance and I had this stuff all over my face. Rob was laughing hysterically and so was my mate. I quickly shifted into a wolf and cowered.
He laughed loudly at my form and had a playful grin on his face. He face still had a playful look but then he growled at me.
"Change back" he ordered
I whimpered at his tone but refused.
"Shift" he repeated
I really wanted to disobey but with his serious Alpha tone, my wolf knew that what he said was law. What was with all these wolf laws? Who comes up with this crap? Just because he was the Alpha didn't mean I had to do everything he said. But no! My wolf mentally kicked me for thinking this way. This was the Alpha, my Alpha and he needed respect.
-I'll go change in the bathroom- I say through our link
-okay, go-he said with a lighter tone.
I stood up and walked quickly into the washroom. I changed quickly and pulled on some clothes. My face was all white and red from the embarrassment. I washed my face and practically ran to the kitchen.
"That's my girl" Damen teased
"Stupid Wolf Laws" I muttered to myself
"What's that?" He said
"Nothing"
"Okay, who wants burnt pancakes?" Rob bursted out of nowhere
"I'm not hungry" I stated but my stomach had to be a pain and growl like a mad dog
"Liar" I saw Damen smirk
"Ok, fine I'm hungry but I'm not eating that" I pointed towards the burnt pancakes that just got extinguished.
"Let's go out, my treat" I smile sweetly at Damen.
"Ok, if that's what you want"
"Totally"
"Lets go" I added
We ended going to eat at IHOP.
The boys paid the bill and we went to the car.
"What did you say earlier? Something about wolves and laws?" I saw pure confusion on Damen's face and I just shrugged .
