(Elle on Side)

I push open the door and there, to the left of me, is a short and petite asian girl sitting on a bed.

She glances up and smiles "I was wondering when you'd get here! I'm Brittnay Montgomery." I grin and say "I'm Eleanor Hastings and these are my parents, Gail and Robert Hastings." Brittnay smiles. "Its very nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Hastings. Would you like some lemon crumble I made earlier?"

Dad smiled at me and I knew I had won the roomate lottery. I winked at him and took a sqaure of the freshly baked lemon crumble. My mouth was full wtih flaky pie crust as I swallowed and said "Mmmm, That's delicious Brittnay!" Brittnay chuckled and said 'I came to Windsor for their fabulous cooking classes! I'm a baker, Not a Rider."

I laughed too. "You dont need any cooking classes! In my mind, Your a 5-star chef already!" Brittnay smiled gratefully and said "Thank you. It means alot to hear someone say that." While me and Brittnay exchanged our first words in a real face-to-face converstation, Mom and Dad layed out my laptop, my desk and printer and set up my desk lamp. I grabbed my comforter box with brittnay and covered the left-over twin bed with the sheets and put the comforter on it. My room looked beautiful. I unpacked my paddock, riding and show boots and put them on the wire shoe rack in my closet. I hung up shirts, dresses, skirts, pants and breeches in the closet and also hung up my belts and jackets.

I placed my remaining shoes which consisted of flip flops, flats, heels and sneakers. I looked at mom and Dad after putting up the final picture frame of my family and I and elle. It was taken at the Maple Day Riding Stables, Where I used to ride before Windsor.

Mom and Dad smiled at me after I finished unpacking. "Well, I guess it's time to for us to go -" Mom sniffed as she pulled me into a hug. I squeezed her tightly and said "Goodbye Mama, I love you." She sniffed and smiled as my dad came in for a hug. "I'll miss you my little bug-a-boo. But don't forget, Mum and I will see you in three weeks for parents weekend. I love you." He said, ruffling my hair.

My parents left and from my window, I could see our bronze SUV roll out of the parking lot and turn a comer toward the gate.
