General pov
It hadn't changed anything.
Draco telling Harry and Ginny to think more critical about what happened and ask Ron about the girl, it didn't change anything.
Hermione was hopeful when she woke up the next day. She went to breakfast a bit later than usual to be around everyone during breakfast.
She wanted to see if Harry and Ginny would talk to Ron.
Of course they talked, but it didn't seem like they had talked about anything serious.
They definitely didn't discover that Ron had cheated on Hermione and that he had broken up with her instead of the other way around.
Hermione felt crushed.
Finally someone had told her friends some of the truth and they didn't listen.
If Draco and her couldn't convince them, who ever could?
Her hopes had flown out the window. She didn't think that she would ever be able to convince them of the truth.
She is honestly lost at what she is going to do next.
She supposes the next best thing is to just keep going and see whatever comes along.

Hermione's pov
The day goes by miserably. Every time I hope that either of my friends show up to me and tell me how sorry they are for believing Ron, that they never should have doubted me and that they're sorry.
It doesn't happen.
I'm crushed.
I go about my day in the best way I can but I don't think I'm managing very well.
This sucks... I really thought that they would have listened and things would be starting to get back to normal by now.
Guess I was wrong...
The week goes by pretty miserably as well.
I don't speak to many people, but this time it's because I avoid them, and not the other way around.
Each day I stick to my routine and stick to myself.
Halfway through the week I am so tired and drained mentally that I decide to take a good soak in a nice warm bath.
It's close to curfew but as head girl I have some nice privilages.
I put my stuff down and flick on the tab to let the hot water fill the bath. I choose a lavender soap to calm my nerves.
Once the tub is halfway full I undress and step into the tub.
I relieve a sigh of content and close my eyes.
The time goes by and before I know it the water is getting colder.
I flick on the tab again to let more hot water stream into the bath to replace the cold water.
I wait for the water to get back to a nice temperature. I don't have any plans to leave yet.
The water is getting warmer again and I close my eyes again.
I'm dozing off. I'm almost asleep when the door opens with a loud bang.
I nearly jump out of the water.
Shit, did I forget to lock the door again?
One look at the door and my suspicion is confirmed, of course it's Malfoy who steps into the room.
