Zane had always been the team's chef everytime it was his turn to cook the rest of the ninja would be excited.
Today was a fine Wednesday night that meant it was Zane's turn to cook dinner.
"Finally Zane's turn something to use to forget the taste of Cole's chilli" said the blue ninja.
"Yeah, you know Cole for someone who eats alot of delicious food you don't cook very delicious food" replied the red ninja.
"Yeah yeah whatever" Cole replied to the comments of his teammates about his chilli.
"Dinner is ready!"said Zane while entering the dining room with dinner.
"Meat is a good source of energy, it will help us with training for tommorow" said the chef
"That steak looks amazing Zane!"said Nya while looking at the nindroid's food
"I don't care what it is as long as it's made by Zane I'd eat it" said Lloyd
"As long as it's not Cole's chilli I'd eat it" replied Jay
Cole rolled his eyes
"Enjoy friends" Zane chuckled then smiled with the compliments of his friends.
He always loved cooking for his friends midnight snacks,breakfast even just snacks after training.
While seeing his friends eat happily he wondered, something was missing more over someone.
Pixal their fellow teammate He wondered where his fellow nindroid was.
"Friends, Do any of you happen to know where Pixal is?" He asked.
"Oh she's outside she said she wanted fresh air" replied Nya.
"Thank you Nya" Zane smiled and took a plate for her and left the room.
Pixal and Zane are nindroids they aren't required to eat but since Zane is surrounded by humans he mostly does human stuff.
Pixal on the other hand was an assistant who was surrounded by robots.
Zane went outside and there she was staring down at Ninjago city. The moonlight hitting her silver skin making her beauty show even more Zane couldn't help but stop and stare in awe.
"Pixal, I have saved something for you" Zane called for her Pixal looked to her right to see Zane holding a plate of food for her.
She had always liked Zane How nice and caring he was, how he was a gentleman to her when they first met,how he puts people before him.Pixal liked everything about him and couldn't help but feel butterflies when he's around.
Which reminds her why she was there in the first place. Before she went there her and Nya were having a girl talk.
"I don't know what to tell you Pix he likes you you like him why not just tell him how you feel?"said the raven haired girl
"What if he doesn't. What if I just make a fool out of myself if I tell him"
"It's your choice. Keep those feelings to your chest forever and let Zane find someone else or just tell him"
"I don't know Nya"
"Look if you don't tell him I will"
"OK OK FINE I WILL" replied Pixal with distress
*Smirking Nya Face*
"I have made steak for the others and I didn't want you to get left out so I saved you a plate" he said while giving her the plate which snapped her out of her thoughts
She takes the plate and takes a bite "You've done it again Zane this is amazing" she said
"Thank you" he replied while smiling
"I haven't tried it yet I wanted to make sure you ate first" he said while scratching the back of his neck and looking off into the distance.
"Would you like to try it?" She asked
"If you are willing to share"
"Of course!"
She took another bite "I am still surprised that you are able to cook like this"
"May I try?"
"It's your choice. Keep those feelings to your chest forever and let Zane find someone else or just tell him" Nya's words repeating in her head
When Zane bent over and came close to her height she kissed him softly landing her lips on to his.
What am I doing? Should I not have done this? Was this a bad idea? Is this crossing boundaries? Well he didn't back away.
Thoughts rushing through her head as it progresses.
But the kiss didn't last forever as they eventually pulled apart.
"You're right it does taste amazing" Said Zane while smirking and Pixal letting out a small chuckle.
"Does this mean you'll go out with me?" Zane asked
"Mmm maybe" she said while giving him a kiss on the cheek and went inside.
