Kailor - Oh shit

"That should be the last of it" I said after putting two paper bags of groceries and other items on the counter.

"Thank you, son" My mom replied entering the kitchen with other stuff in her hands.

My mom decided that she wanted to try baking again after a long while, so she bought some ingredients that she needed and other baking stuff that I don't know the names of.

She said that she was gonna make chocolate cake, which is her favorite, and also because no one in the house dislikes chocolate cake.

"Anything else you need help with?" I asked before going upstairs

She looks through some of the paper bags and then around the kitchen "I think everything's here"

"Are you sure?" I ask again "I'm gonna play a game that can't be paused I can't help you with anything later" I added.

"Yeah yeah everything's good, and I can ask your dad for help if I need anything" she replies while washing her hands

"Alright, bye" I ran upstairs

As I got upstairs I heard a door open and out came my sister.

"Hey, is mom home?" She asked "Did she bought what I told her to?"

"Uh, I don't know? Ask her yourself, all I know is she's making chocolate cake" I reply

"Sweet" she rushes pass me and even hits my shoulder "sorry!" she yells and continues running leaving the door to her room open.

I go in and grab the door knob to close the door but did a bit of inspection before doing so.

Her room looks like it's in its normal state, messy but not too messy, her bed is made but there's pieces of paper in some corners, on the ground, and even one on her nightstand right next to a cup and a pad of sticky notes that looked like they had something written on it.

Probably for her homework or whatever that's for, nothing suspicious so I closed the door and headed to my room.

I open the lights and saw my notebooks and books on my desk, right, I was doing homework before mom arrived but luckily it's already finished.

I grabbed my books and stacked them up and returned them to my small shelf and took my notebooks stacked them and placed them back in my school bag.

Wait....1..2..3..4... I'm missing one.

I got up and looked around my room to find my missing notebook

It was on the floor next to my desk it probably fell when I was reading and I forgot to pick it back up.

I took it from the floor and a small piece of paper came and flew out of it, I took the paper that was on the ground and saw that it was the one from the day of the tests.

"Thank you<33"

I gave her this because she saved me in one of the tests and she gave it back 'cause I did the same, or Jay did the same 'cause it was Jay's answers but still, I was the one that helped her.

I placed it on my desk and returned my notebook.

I opened my PC so I could start playing.

I sat in my chair eyeing the piece of paper.

I can't believe she couldn't write thank you herself, if she wrote the "thank you" down herself I would keep the piece of paper as a souvenir of her being nice to me, which is very rare

My PC finally turns on so I open my game so I can get to playing.

First match, first win, that was a great start, my teammates weren't terrible so the match went amazing.
