a formal fictional dance held by a high school at the end of the academic year, typically for students in their junior or senior year.

What's a junior year?

Oh so it's like level of education? A dance party for them?

I just got finished reading a few chapters of this new book I just started and the main character mentioned that she was going to a prom, which according to the internet is a form of celebration for teenagers like me?

I looked at the pictures and saw people dancing and partying in formal wear

Some pictures include large groups of people some are in groups of four and a few are in groups of two, mostly consisting of a man and a woman.

The people in the pictures look like they're having fun and the main character of the book too, was having so much fun.

Why did things like 'prom' have to be fictional? Can we not have these? Well, they are just dancing and having fun, who says I can't do that? I can ask my dad to dance with me, we've danced before.

Or I could dance with chompy, I looked at my pet dragon who was sleeping on my bed.

"How hard can dancing be? The people in these pictures just look like they're moving their hands, I can do tha-"

I was cut of by a knock on my door.

"Yes come in" I said

"Hello Princess your father wanted me to inform you that the ninja are almost here and he wants you to go and greet them with him" our guards said.

Right I almost forgot, my dad called the ninja all the way over here just to help him test the durability of our gates and security, I told him not to 'cause I don't want to be a bother specially because they probably have alot of things to do, also considering their city is almost always in danger, but my dad is not the one to change his mind.

"Okay let's go" the guard opened the door and let me went out first and we started walking downstairs.

Though I don't want to bother the ninja, I do miss having them in the palace, it was never a dull moment with any of them, it has also been a while since they've visited us so I do miss them alot. One ninja in particular.

"It is with great honor King Vangelis, and I present the faint ninja of Ninjago once again" I heard another guard, they must be here!

I rushed down the stairs with excitement.

"Welcome again ninja to the ivory city, I'm glad you're willing to give a helping hand with our security, I hope it won't be a bother" I heard my father said

"Not at all your highness" I heard master Wu

I waved my hand in the air so they could see me, as I did all of them looked at me and bowed, I ran to them so I could greet them too.

"Greetings ninja! It's been a while since we've all seen each other, how have all of you been?" I asked

"Great honestly, we didn't get attacked like last time" Kai replied.

I laughed remembering them complain special Jay.

"We also passed by some kids that recognized us, they were having a dance party or something" Lloyd said

"We told Cole to join but he didn't want to" Jay said rolling his eyes

"I don't like dancing Jay" Cole replied
