Dianna:
How can this be happening? Demi is my little girl. I mean, I knew she would grow up at some point but... Is she really ready? Am I ready? I know I have to support her, and honestly I know she'll be a great mother. But this goes against everything I taught her. How could she do this to me? Oh, but she will need me now more than ever....
Eddie:
No, no not my baby. Joe will die. I will kill him right now. This is not... What am I doing? Maybe... This is what she wants? No! She can't want this. She isn't ready. Maybe I'm not ready... He looked up and Dallas had a smile on her face. What could possibly be so funny?
Dallas:For once Demi is the sexually active one! This is gold.
Madison:
I'm going to be an aunt? Does this mean that Demi and Joe.... EW! That's so nasty.
Demi:
Well, fuck. She looked around at the blank faces of her family. The minutes that had passed since she told them all the news felt like hours. Why wouldn't anyone speak? The silence was more piercing than any sound she could have ever imagined. When Madison finally spoke it felt like someone had suddenly crashed through a solid wall of plexi glass.
"Demi... Are you and Joe getting married?"
That was definitely the exact opposite of what she had expected to come out of anyone's mouth. She looked at Maddie for a good long time, trying to think of an answer, she had never really thought about it. Well sure one day I guess... "Not yet baby girl. But maybe soon..." She looked up at her dad as she said this. His piercing eyes were staring deep into hers, but she wasn't sure it was a look of disappointment, anger, or maybe... fear?
"Well, there's no going back now. What's done is done, and we'll support you through anything." Even as these words came out of her mother's mouth, Demi couldn't believe that this was the reaction. She smiled, and watched as Dianna put a calming hand on Eddie's arm.
"Yes," Eddie finally said, "even though this isn't the most convenient way for me to become a grandfather..." He closed his eyes and opened them again, as if this was all really hard to say, "We're your family and we are here." Demi got up and ran to hug him.
"I love you so much, dad." She knew how hard this was for him. Despite the fact that he wasn't her biological father, he had always been protective of Demi. "I love you too, honey." He kissed her forehead, and all was forgiven.

Joe:
"Hey babe, are you at the airport?" Joe was a little too excited about Demi coming back home. She had only been gone two days and he missed her like crazy. Even though they already dated years ago, the feelings that he had for her were completely new. Maybe it was that they had both matured, but something definitely felt different about this love they shared.
"Yeah, I'm on my plane now!" Joe could here the smile in her voice even over the phone. "I missed you so much, I can't wait to get back."
"I missed you too!" Joe responded in an equally smiley tone. "I missed you both..." He added on carefully. This was the first time he had really acknowledged his child this directly since he had heard the news, aside from an occasional rubbing of Demi's stomach. It was weird for him to think about, that the baby growing inside of her was his child. He had told his family about the baby as well this weekend, and though his brothers were happy for him, his parents were extrememly upset. They refused to accept the situation, and that hurt more than anything in the world, They were refusing to love their own family! He knew he had to stay strong for Demi though, she and the baby were number one in his world now.
"I love you so much, Joe."
"I know baby, I love you too. See you soon." With that, Demi hung up the phone and Joe lowered his slowly from his ear. He loved hearing those words come out of her mouth. Hell, he loved hearing those worlds coming out of his mouth. It's amazing, he thought to himself, how three words can make the rest of the world go away. He turned around and sat on the couch, waiting until 5 o'clock when he could finally see the loves of his life again.
Selena:
"So, you're sure you lost her number? Didn't you guys like, just see each other?" Selena questioned, she knew Nick was a terrible liar. She was always able to read him like a book.
"Uhh, uh, yeah I did. My phone must of glitched or something, I, I don't know." Nick responded in a shakey voice. He might as well have been saying 'I have Demi's number, but there's no way in hell I'm giving it to you.' This was the second time she had been lied to. She knew Joe had her number too, she had seen them together in a magazine last week. It just hurt that no one trusted her anymore.
"That's fine, thanks for trying though." She decided to let it go, he wouldn't give in, he was always a good friend to Demi. A sigh of relief came from the other end of the phone and Nick gave her an awkward goodbye and quickly hung up the phone, like he was afraid she would ask again.
Selena threw her phone on the couch, got up, and began pacing. She missed Demi so much. Taylor was an amazing friend, but there was just something about Demi and her ability to be completely herself around everyone, and her seet smile, and her warm hugs... She missed it all so much. She was so proud of everything that Demi had overcome, and she felt terrible that she had never gotten to tell her that. She just wanted them to be best friends again, like the old days. She knew what she had to do if she was going to fix their relationship, she was just afraid that Demi wouldn't want her back.
