This won't be regularly updated, this is purely for fun and not my main priority.

One last thing before we continue, this will probably end up having more angst than romance, so I apologize ahead of time. I'm not the best at writing ship stories/romances. I'm just tryin' ma best, okays? :,>

This evening's cast:

[Puppet/Dr. Henry Jekyll, Ballora/Emma Carew, Gold/Mr. John Utterson, Toy Fredrick/Poole, Freddy Fazbear/Sir Danvers Carew, Toy Bonnie/The Pharmacist]

-London, 1880's-

The sound of the wind-up music box was being drowned out by the sound of crying from behind the door that led into the private lab in the large house's basement. A voice was crying out in, what sounded like, agony. Fredrick—trey of food in his hands—gave the door a knock, calling out with, "Sir?" He paused, as the crying seemed to quiet somewhat. "Your dinner is ready. I've brought you a serving."

The sound of the music box was suddenly audible, as the crying quietly came to a hush. However, the butler could have sworn he heard a muttering of sorts before the Marionette finally spoke up. "Leave it at the door."

"Yes, sir." Doing as he was told, Fredrick placed the tray by the wall on the floor, just next to the foot of the door. There were no shelves or small tables in the basement's hallway for him to put it on.

After doing so, the butler took his leave—off to find something else that needed to be done, and perhaps check with the servants of the house.

"I'm sorry, miss. The Doctor isn't seeing anyone. Not for days now." Ballora let out a small disappointed sigh—Mr. Gold gave a small shake of his head.

"Would you like for me to send him a message, miss?" Fredrick offered to her. Not having to think too hard about it, Ballora answered with, "Just tell him, there is more to life than his work. Myself, for example."

"A very valid argument, if I may say so, miss." The butler agreed with a nod, before taking his leave.

Looking to Mr. Gold—the Marionette's closest friend, and lawyer—Ballora spoke up again. "Fredbear, he won't see me." She began. "It's been five days. I'm worried."

"I understand, but-"

"I said, 'I am worried'!" The golden bear sighed, calmly answering with, "I'll... speak with Fredrick." He answered. With a sigh, Ballora sadly took her leave.

After she left, Fredrick returned to the study. "... You know how loyal I am to the doctor," the bear began, gaining the other's attention. "But, I feel there are some things I should bring to your attention."

"What is it?" The butler hesitated a moment, before continuing. "His behaviour, as of late, has been rather bizarre, and quite worrying." The golden bear gave him a puzzled look.
"For the past several days,—five, I believe—the doctor has refused to leave his lab." Fredrick began, hands clasped behind his back. "I'm instructed to leave his meals at the doors."
