"Cone, Connor wait what the hell?" Denver wheezed as he tried to catch up with a fuming Connor.

Connor now stopped as Denver held his knees and bend down to catch some air. "Cone, you know I can't actually run" He said.

"Denver, I told you we didn't have to come here. This was a bad idea" Connor said.

"Yeah, well bad ideas sum up my life pretty much" Denver smiled as he walked up to Connor.

"Just tell me one thing, was it them?" Denver asked, now serious. Connor looked at him for a while then looked down at the ground "No" He muttered.

The ride back to the Niver house was silent. It didn't look like Denver was to give up but he didn't say anything during the ride.

They reached the house, as soon as the door was opened, Denver was tackled by Skyle. He frisked Denver for the keys of the Chevelle and waved them saying "Just gonna take them for a while. "

He then went outside on the ground as he shouted "Got 'em". The house thundered, Gabbie, Andy, Adam and Bee came rushing out the door.

"Wait, what's happening?" But before Denver could finish questioning, they were all seated in the Chevelle which now drove out the gate.

"What just happened?" Connor asked Denver who shrugged his shoulders.

They walked in and realised the whole house was empty. Both of them sighed.

They then walked up to Connor's room, neither interested in taking advantage of the empty house.

"I'll just take a shower" Connor said as he made it into the bathroom. Dean nodded and decided to call Skyle up.

"What is going on Sky? " He asked.
"Uhh-" Skyle began but "Just lie" Adam's whisper could be heard.

"No, you better not lie to me Sky" Denver thundered. "Okay, okay, we're going to a concert and since Mike and Jase left with their cars we didn't have a ride so we had to jump you Denver " Skyle said in a soft and innocent voice to which Denver couldn't help but give in.

"Okay fine but not a scratch on her Sky. NOT A SCRATCH ON HER" Denver hollered into the phone. "Yes yes, got it" Skyle said before the line went dead.

Connor felt the hot water on his skin and it made things so clear. Someone was right when they said a hot shower can fix everything. He heard Denver scream about his car and chuckled to himself.

He let his worries wash away for this little time before he had to get in the real world again.

He finished and dried himself before putting on a full sleeved thin T-shirt and pants. He walked out rubbing his head as he saw Denver.

Denver was sitting on his bed, with a box. He indicated for Connor to take a seat on the chair he had kept right in front of him.

Connor scrunched his eyebrows as he sat there nonetheless. "What-? " Denver slowly pulled up the sleeves causing Connor to wince.

Denver opened the box and took out some cotton and some liquid ointment as he poured that on the cotton and started treating Connor's cuts.

Connor hissed in pain but did not withdraw his hands. "Never ever ever hide things from me again. Never ever do these again and don't you lie to me." Denver said as he finished dabbing the wounds.

He carefully put small leukoplast tapes on those. Then he held them and looked at Connor, "I'm always there for you. I will be. You can talk to me whenever you feel anything. And I will always help you, I love you Cone " Denver said as he kissed Connor's hands.
