I yawn and get out of my bed. The apartment we got has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining space, and even an office for our youtube lives and such. I change out of my plaid green pajamas and into a pair of ripped jeans and a blue cropped hoodie. I brush my hair out and put it in two french braids on either side of my head. I slowly walk over to Aidan's room and knock on his door. "Behind you." I hear and jump backwards. "Bit jumpy this morning?" Aidan chuckles as he flips an egg over in a pan.
"You cook?" I ask as I walk over and give him a quick hug.
"I love it." He slides two eggs onto two toasted bread slices. Perfectly cooked eggs and perfectly cooked toast. "I hope you don't mind vegan food." He adds.
"I'm okay with anything." I've never tried vegetarian food, nevermind vegan. I guess I'll have to get used to it though, living with a vegan for a few months. He places two plates of somehow vegan eggs and toast on the table accompanied by two glasses of what seems to be fresh orange juice. "Cook often?"
"All the time." He sits down. I pull out my chair and sit too.
"So, what are we doing today?" I question.
"Meeting the cast, lunch." He answers.
"I hate meeting new people." I groan.
"Don't worry, it will be okay." He laughs a bit, somehow that was a funny comment? I didn't mean it to be. I'm completely serious when I say that I don't like meeting new people. Like I'm cool with meeting the fans, I love all my fans, but I stress too much meeting anyone else.
"What if I make a bad impression on them?" I stress.
"Then I'll be there." He smiles his normal, stunning smile. Something inside me stirs. Butterflies? Maybe? Life is so confusing.
"Thanks.. you don't know how much that helps."  I sigh.
"Was that supposed to sound sarcastic?" He asks. Shoot I messed up.
"NO! No it wasn't, I'm sorry. I'm just making this worse aren't I?" I pick at my food and let out a nervous chuckle.
"No, I was joking, I promise, I didn't mean to make you stressed." He rubs the back of his neck, looking really ashamed.
"Not funny!" I slap him on his arm, softly, I don't want to hurt the guy, even though I could easily hurt someone. Just like SLAP! Why the hell am I thinking about slapping people.
"Sorry.." He takes another bite from his food. "Aren't you going to eat?"
"Eventually." I reply.
"It gets cold fast."
"I can heat it up."
"Reheated eggs really suck." He adds a slight head tilt.
"They do suck.." I agree.
"So, eat."
"Okay I will." I take a bite from the toast. "This is actually really good." I say, surprised. Who knew vegan stuff tasted amazing.
"Thank you."
"Of course."
"So.. how are you feeling?" He wonders.
"Great.. how about you?" It's been awhile since someone asked me that question. I can tell he really cares.
"I'm doing good," he answers, "can you smile for me?" He teases. I smile slightly. "More." I smile a little wider. He rolls his eyes. "Think about tiny little pancakes dancing around with top hats." I burst out laughing. What? Their little stick legs doing the conga would be so adorable. "There she is." He smiles back.
"Just finish your food." I say, taking another bite. He adds a little laugh and also takes another bite. "Any idea on who has any jobs?"
"Nope, is it scaring you?" He worries
"A little." I admit
"It's going to be great."
"How are you positive?"
"We have each other, right?" He adds a little wink. GOD! It makes him look even sweeter. He laughs. "Sorry, that was weird."
"It's okay." I giggle a little.
"K, we do have each other's backs, right?"
"Obviously."
