Percy's POV

THWACK!

Come on sea spawn, don't let your friend take your punishment.

Percy!

Looks like the savior of Olympus has a soft spot.

THWACK! CRACK!

Percy!

THWACK!

Percy!

"Percy!"

My eyes shot open and on instinct, I activated my trident and pinned whoever was above me to the bed. I straddled them, kept my hand around their throat, and held my trident pointed at their eye.

I could feel the sweat dripping from my brow and it took me a few seconds to realize that I knew the person under me.

Genya.

I shot back off of her and landed on the other side on the large bed. My trident landed on the floor with a clang and I huddled into the corner furthest away from the ginger haired woman.

She laid on the bed looking slightly frightened but worried. "Percy. Percy, are you alright," she asked me while rubbing her throat.

Guilt ate away at me when I saw that her neck was turning pink. Gods what is wrong with me. I didn't answer and started to shake. The whole room was shaking and I could hear guards shout in panic as the Little Palace was experiencing an earthquake.

Genya scoot closer to me and tried to calm me down when the doors shot open. Alina came running in and came straight towards me. She made her way to the side of the bed and wrapped her arms around my waist from the back.

"Shh, Percy. You're okay. Breathe. Feel my breath and try to match it," she instructed calmly.

She started to take deep, exaggerated breaths so I could feel the movement of her chest behind me. As I felt her body rise and fall in a rhythmic pattern, I subconsciously started to mirror her. As my breathing became less erratic, the shaking of the palace stopped. The guards were calling for maids to clean anything that had been damaged and I could here some Grisha through the halls wondering what had happened.

I stayed in Alina's arms, "Thanks Sticks. I'm sorry, Genya. I'm so sorry."

Alina hugged me tighter and Genya's face fell at my apology. Her fingers ran through my messy hair and wiped my tears.

"It's alright, Percy. I'm okay," Genya reassured me.

Once the two were sure that I was breathing okay and not hiccuping from crying, they let me go gently and Genya went to grab the blue clothing she came in with.

"This is for you," she said. Alina and I looked at the kefta as she laid it on the bed. I took in the beautiful blue coat with light blue embroidery. As I examined it, I noticed that there were tridents at each of the cuffs. I lifted it up and instantly loved it.

"Oh Percy, try it on!" cheered Alina. As I stood up to change, I realized that Alina was wearing her kefta as well. The blue made the gold details really pop and it looked amazing on her.
