Percy's POV

The next morning I was woken up by a rapid knocking at my door which caused a loud, long groan.

Only one person knocks like that.

I threw the duvet off of me reluctantly, knowing that the knocking would not stop until I opened the door and quickly wrapped the silver robe around myself.

Once I made it to the door, I opened it to be met with the big smile of my Heartrender  friend.

"Good morning Percy!"

"Whyyyyyy? Why Fedyor? I was sleeping!" I pleaded with the man in red and with a smile on his face that was way too big for the morning.

He laughed at my misery as he made his way into the room.

"Well I can't help that I'm excited for the fete tonight. I thought you were too?"

"I am but not this early," I said to him before walking back to my bed and flopping onto it, face first.

I heard Fedyor sigh lightly and heard him take a couple steps closer to me but what I didn't expect was to be crushed into the bed by his weight.

I groaned out a chuckle at his actions but didn't really move as he laid on top of me, "Well then I guess we'll just lay here. Saints you're so boney."

Well now that made me move.

"Oh you think I'm boney do you?"

If you couldn't tell that was supposed to be a rhetorical question. But Fedyor didn't catch my tone because he started to answer.

"Yes exa-"

And his answer was promptly cut off was I reached for one of the many pillows that adorned the head of the bed and smacked the Heartrender right in the face.

"Oof," said Fedyor once the pillow made contact and he rolled off of me.

But I didn't let up as I continued to pelt him with the feather stuffed cushion.

He put up his arms to guard himself from my assault and reached for his own fluffy weapon and before we knew it, we had a full on pillow fight happening.

Blows were traded and I was surprised that there weren't feathers and shreds of fabric decorating the bed and floor but we didn't show any mercy.

We were so engrossed in our pummeling of each other that we didn't hear the double knock of Genya at the door but we certainly knew she was there when she commented on us.

"What in Ravka are you two doing?"

The question made Fedyor and I freeze with our pillows in the air, primed to strike and we both turned, wide eyed, at the shocked and astonished ginger woman that stood at the foot of the bed.

We both slowly looked back at each other for a moment and then turned back to the tailor, "Nothing... ".

Genya just scoffed and turned around to head towards my vanity where she had set a medium sized box.

Once she had her back turned, I smacked Fedyor one last time in the face before putting my pillow down and hopping off the bed to join Genya.

My friend in red flopped on his back from the contact of my pillow hitting him in the face and landed with another, "Oof."

The woman in white whipped around at the noise and rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face when she saw that we were not where she left us.

"Alright, come on now. I have to get you ready for the fete," said Genya as she opened the top of the box she brought with her.
