Percy's POV

For the next hundred or so years, I lived with my father in Atlantis but made frequent trips to both Camp Half-blood and Camp Jupiter. At first, it was okay. I had friends at both camps that I could talk to and seek comfort in because they knew the war. But as time went on and I started to outlive everyone I knew, it became tiresome. There was no Clarisse to spar with, or Reyna to talk to. No Stoll twins to prank people with or even Drew to have a girly chat every so often.

The bright side was that Thalia was still with the hunt so I could see her once and a while, but that was rare because of how often they move around. Nico was in the Underworld with his father. Time works differently down there so he still looks like he's around 18. Will ended up being blessed with an extended lifespan to stay and be Camp Half-blood's resident doctor. So he'll live for a long time but eventually, he'll die too. He and Nico are doing pretty well together though.

But even then, it was still tiring seeing all the demigods come and go. Chiron tries his best to take my mind off of things by keeping me busy but that only does so much.

Over the years, there's been some quests some gods personally asked me to go on. I can't exactly say not to a god that could put me through eternal misery so I say yes every time. I retrieved Aphrodite's girdle from a rogue demigod and in return was rewarded with a charmed bag. It carried a supply of drachmas, ambrosia, and nectar.

My father gifted me a trident that transformed into a bronze ring with his crest on it. Fortunately, it was charmed the same as Riptide to return to me if lost. The trident was forged by Tyson and he had the genius idea to mix stygian iron, gifted from Hades because he's grown to like me, and adamantine to create something that could protect me from monsters and mortals alike.

For a little while I traveled with Artemis and her hunt. She wanted to convince me to join and thought a good way to do so was to have me spend time with them and hopefully bond. I didn't end up joining the hunt like she hoped but I gained a Nemean Lion pelt.

There's been a couple of big battles since the end of the Second Giant war but nothing has ever come close to that level. Mostly because I put a stop to it before it ever got the chance to grow. Being in two wars made it easier to notice the signs of an uprising. Oceanus was threatening to overthrow my father for the sea but it's kind of easy to feel something off with the ocean when you're the daughter of Poseidon. Echidna was gathering all her children to storm Camp Half-blood in hopes of swiping us out. Again, when the monsters are all gathering in certain cities, you can tell that something is being planned.

It's been about a week since we defeated Echidna's monsters and I sent Echidna into the pit and we were back to our normally scheduled camp activities.

I was walking to the Big House to play pinochle with Chiron when I was surrounded by a light that forced me to cover my eyes. Once the light faded away, I was able to see that I had been summoned by the gods and was now standing in Olympus.

I looked around the room before locking eyes with my father. I gave him a questioning look and was met with a shake of his head. He didn't know what was going on either but I guess we were about to find out.

"Persephone Jackson, you have grown too powerful to remain on this Earth. You challenge the gods and that cannot stand. We have voted on an execution to make a show that Olympus is the power that remains the highest," proclaimed Zeus.

"You think I'm so powerful that the only option your dumbasses came up with was to kill me!? What the fuck is wrong with you? Have you forgotten my fatal flaw is loyalty? Why the fuck would I betray my father and friends!?" I yelled back at the Drama King.

"You have become arrogant that you would defy the word of the King of Olympus. You must be dealt with before your power corrupts you." That was the only warning I got before Hephaestus raised his hand, made a fist, and chains of celestial Bronze shot out aimed at me.

I dodged out of the way of most of them but Ares jumped out of his throne to distract me. I drew Riptide to defend myself but a chain wrapped itself around my leg in my distracted state.

Artemis drew her bow and shot an arrow into my shoulder and I ended up dropping my sword in the process.

With the chains, Ares, and Artemis' arrow in my shoulder, I was overwhelmed and my gaze was drawn to my father once more. He was standing and pointing his trident at his brother.

"Brother this will not stand. You cannot kill my only daughter just because you feel threatened by her. There is no proof to suggest that she is a threat to you," my father spoke to Zeus.

As he spoke to his brother, I heard his voice in my head as well,"Percy, if Zeus tries to harm you in any way, vapour travel to Atlantis and we will get you safe."

I cleared my throat to signal that I understood his request and Ares took this chance to wrap an arm around my throat and hold his blade at my back, ready to run me through. Demeter also stood up and conjured vines to erupt from the ground and weave their way around my legs. Artemis knocked another arrow, this one aimed for a more lethal target than the previous.

Once Zeus saw that I had been restrained, he paid no mind to his brother. "You are blinded by the fact that she is your daughter. You cannot see the full picture nor the possibilities of letting her exist. She destroyed two titans, Gaea, and the mother of monsters. There is no question that she is a threat to our rule."

"You mean your rule, brother. I swear to you that if you kill my only daughter, I will have war," my father said in response.

"You will move on." That's all that was said before he raised his hand.

Once I saw his arm start to move, I acted quickly and felt the signature tug in my gut. As the room faded away, I could see Artemis release her arrow and feel a phantom pain of Ares' sword moving through where I originally was. The last thing I heard before Olympus was completely gone from my vision was the sound of thunder rumble throughout the sky.
