Auroras POV!

Jeremy had called me and asked me to come help him watch Elena while she was in the hospital. He told me he had found her upstairs in their house unconscious but Meredith said she was completely fine. I was walking into the entrance when it felt like someone was watching me. I turned around and of course nobody was there. I started walking in again and when I looked ahead I seen him walking. Ric was walking into the hospital, he walked right past me somehow. I ran to catch up to him but when I rounded the corner, he was gone.

I made it up to Elenas room and warned Jeremy to get Elena out of there right away. I got ahold of Caroline and everyone was going over to Elenas to help watch over her, although Caroline was totally capable of doing it on her own because of her drill-seargent like skills.

I was taking a different route of the hospital hoping to lead Ric away but I got to the staircases and he was waiting behind the door. He grabbed me and threw me down the first flight of stairs. I tumbled down and hit my head twice on the way down before I hit the brick wall at the bottom.

"Oh Aurora... did you not get the message last time I captured you... I can kill you if I want to, in fact I should've when I had the chance" He said coming slowly down the stairs like a killer in a bad horror movie. I tried to stumble away as quick as I could, once I had enough strength I tried to speed out of there but he anticipated it and smashed me into another wall with my hand behind my back. I groaned out as my arm was being twisted in an uncomfortable way.

"So foolish. I'm a weapon Aurora, not even you can kill me... Unfortunately you are not my priority right now. I'm going to take this town back from all you demons. I am going to make things right. Your going to be exposed, and they'll kill you for me.What do you think of that?" He said with his face to closer to my ear than I preferred.

"I say, game on." I said before smashing the back of my head into his nose. I heard the crunch and it satisfied my ears but I knew that wouldn't hold him so I kicked my heeled boot right into his knee causing that to snap as well. Once he was down I kneed his face once more which caused his neck to snap and he blacked out. I knew it would only be minutes before he woke up again so I ran out of there as fast as I could.

I made my way to Elenas place but first I needed to call Damon. He answered on the first ring as usual.

"Hey"

"Hey... are you coming home?" I said stopping at my place to change cause I got Rics blood on me. I decided to grab a "snack" while I was home as well.

"Uhm... one of us is coming home" He answered.

"Stefan..." I said a little disappointed.

"It's better if one of us keeps going with Klaus's body. Ric cannot find it" He explained.

"Yeah... okay." I said bummed out.

"Are you alright?" He asked me.

"Yeah... It's just ... not easy being the one to keep everyone safe, I'm not a hero" I said.

"You can be... I'll see you soon" He said and I said bye and hung up.

I left and went to Elenas and I got there within half an hour. There were low voices inside and it wasn't long before I recognized them as Matt and Elena... I couldn't help but sit and listen to what they were talking about.

"What were you dreaming about?" Matt asked Elena.

"Sophmore year" Elena said chuckling.

"Seems like forever ago.." Matt smiled remembering his past.
