We continued building, eventually choosing to get out Camilles speaker she left for us. Changbin connected his phone and put on a random playlist that was surprisingly good. We started dancing around eventually coming to 'I Can't Stop Me' by Twice. The music started and I moved rhythmically, arms meeting the beat as I stepped to the side. I closed my eyes, concentrating on what I was doing and enjoying the moment.
Before I knew it the song was over and I hunched over breathing quickly. Loud claps followed in the silence and I looked up to see Changbin flustered but in awe. "That was so good!" He walked over before I could respond, wrapping me in a big hug. His arms were secure around my shoulders and I breathed in his scent, relaxing into the embrace.
He pulled back, still holding onto my shoulders. "How did you do that?" His eyes scanned my face. "I've always loved K-pop. So I learn the dances to some of the songs I really enjoy. Its just a fun little hobby though, I cant sing for shit." He let out a small giggle, smiling so wide that his eyes closed. When he opened them again I was mesmerised. All I could see in them was happiness and love, something id never seen from anyone when it came to me.
A blush crept up my face and I hid my face in my hands. "Y/N." He grabbed my hands gently, pulling them away from my face. He leant down the slightest bit and tilted his head to look into my eyes. We stared at each other again, neither one of us wanting to look away. "Y/N I..." Changbin looked away first, his eyes locked onto our hands. "...I think I like you."
The determination in his eyes as he looked back at me sent butterflies spiralling in my stomach. "I know its so soon. But I've never liked anyone. Ever. At one point I thought I was gay because id never found anyone remotely attractive. But then I met you and..." He lifted our hands a little. "I like you to." I looked up at him and smiled, leaning in ever so slightly.
"And I think, no matter how soon this is." I leant in a little more, glancing at his lips then back to his eyes. "I'm willing to try." I moved forward a little more, stopping as our noses touched. Changbin let go of my hands instead choosing to place then lovingly on my cheeks. "Please be my girlfriend." I pulled back a little and smiled.
"Only if your my boyfriend."
