My phone was going off in the other room. Call after call and text after text coming through. I paid no attention to the noise, instead holding my stomach gently and staring at the positive tests on the bench. The soft sound of knocking came from the front door, but again, I ignored it. Footsteps approached me accompanied by Changbins voice.
"Y/N? I brought your stuff from the practise room. Are you awake?" He approached the bathroom, following my muffled crying. "Y/N?" His head poked around the corner. He rushed towards me after seeing my shocked state.
"What's wrong baby? What happened?" His hands grasped my shoulders and he glanced down at what I was holding. "Is your stomach sore?" I pointed at the bench in front of us. His head turned. Everything was silent, then, he turned back to me with wide eyes.
"Your...." His eyes moved back to my hand grasping my stomach. Before I could react I was pulled into a hug. "This is amazing news! I'm going to be a dad!" He pulled away and kissed my forehead. I dropped to my knees, bringing Changbin down with me. My fingers clutched his shirt tightly as I cried into his chest.
"I'm going to be a mum..." I looked up at him smiling.
We embraced for a while before stopping to think of the consequences. "What if JYP finds out?" Our happy moods were destroyed and we stared at each other. "They don't know we are together. Not even the other Stray Kids members know. As far as everyone else in the world knows, we are simply idol and manager nothing more. I guess we have to make up a lie if people become suspicious."
I thought for a moment, pulling out my phone and scrolling through years of photos to find the one I had in mind. "Back in Highschool when I first moved here I was in a long term relationship. He has similar features to you as well so when the baby is born, if anyone asks, we can say its because of him." I turned my phone around showcasing an old photo of me and my ex at the school dance. His arm was wrapped loosely around my waist and we both smiled awkwardly. "His name was Kang Sang-Woo."
"That's a really good idea my love." He kissed my forehead and helped me up from the ground. Changbins phone started going off with messages from the other members. "They are asking where we are. Do you think we can trust them with this?" I let out a heavy sigh. "Its only fair. I trust them and I know you do as well." We walked out of my apartment and opened the door to the stray kids dorm.
Instantly we were greeted with the smell of (insert your favourite food) and half the group sitting on the couches rapidly texting. The group chat alert went off notifying them of our existence. "You're here!" They rushed up, giving me gentle hugs and asking if I'm feeling better. "About that..." Changbin wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "We have something to tell you guys." Changbin pulled me closer.
"Me and Y/N have been dating for over a year and we found out some really good news just now." He turned to me, silently asking if I wanted to continue. I nodded and took a deep breath before speaking. "Im pregnant." Shocked gasps filled the room, even Chan and Seungmin temporarily left the kitchen at the sound of the news.
More anxiety bubbled up through my veins and I started curling in on my self. I felt my brain go numb and everything went blurry as I started crying. "Hey Y/N its ok." Chan's soothing voice came from in front of me as he patted my shoulder comfortingly. "We are all really happy for you two. A little disappointed it took you a year to tell us but given our circumstances its understandable. But thankyou for telling us. We will do everything we can to support you guys and the baby." He gave me a large smile and I felt the tears ease to a stop.
"Thankyou guys. This means a lot to us." Me and Changbin were pulled into a group hug. "Does this mean we are going to be uncles?" Felix looked towards me and Changbin at his words. We both let out laughs of joy. "Of course." I laughed a bit more as Felix jumped into the air yelling out a 'YES' before bringing his hands down into excited fists. "I'm going to be the best uncle ever!" The other boys joined in arguing over who's going to be the best uncle, claiming they would spoil the future child more than everyone else.
Chan stayed back with us laughing as he watched his members argue. "Looking forward to having this?" He gestured to the boys who were now wrestling on the couch. "Haha, funny." Changbin gave a sarcastic glare at Chan. "But in all seriousness this is a big deal. Who ese have you told?" Me and Changbin looked at each other then back to Chan. "No one. Eventually JYP is going to find out, its inevitable at this point. But as long as we can keep it from the fans we will be ok. That's the main thing JYP wont want to get out." He nodded understandably before going over to break apart the boys.
"Seungmin help me finish dinner, the rest of you stop being children." They all mumbled apologies before coming over to talk with me and Changbin.
