They requested that I write a vampire au(which I've never done, but it's smthn I've wanted to try!) where RV is the vampire, and they requested that it's smut, fluff, and angst! Thanks for giving me a fun challenge to work with :3!

Red Velvet had been acting weird as of lately, from avoiding the others to refusing to leave his room, even going as far as to avoid Licorice, which was really unlike him. Red Velvet's behaviour started to really concern Licorice, so after gaining the courage to do so, he finally decided that he should check and see how Red Velvet was doing. Licorice gently knocked on Red Velvet's door. "H-Hey..are you doing okay..? It's been a little while..I'm just worried" Licorice said, hoping he wouldn't upset him. "I'm fine! Just...leave me alone.." Red Velvet called out, sounding a bit annoyed. "Oh..I'm sorry. If you need anything, I'm here for you, yknow... I love you..!" Licorice said, forcing his voice to sound anything but sad or disappointed. No response from Red Velvet. Licorice sighed, and started heading back to his room.

On his way back to his room, Licorice ran into Pomegranate. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know what's going on with Red Velvet..? He's acting different and I'm really worried" Licorice asked nervously. He didn't like talking to Pomegranate, but he was desperate for some type of closure with what was going on. "I do agree, he has been acting strange, but how should I know? You're with him 24/7, you should know" Pomegranate sighed. "I'm serious! He never pushes me away like that! Even when he's upset....this just..isn't like him and you know that.." Licorice whined. "I suggest you go back to his room and ask again, I'm afraid I can't do much to help" Pomegranate said as she started walking away. Licorice left with a huff, and headed back to Red Velvet's room. "Hey, listen, I know something's up, but can I please come in..? This isn't like you and it's really concerning.." Licorice said, a hint of desperation in his voice. "Licorice. Please. Go away. Can't you take a hint when people want to be left alone??" Red Velvet asked, the annoyance in his voice more apparent. "I can take a hint! And you know that..! I j-just...I'm really worried.." Licorice stammered, trying to hold back any tears that were threatening to fall. Licorice hated how easily he got worked up, but in his defense, this was his boyfriend he was dealing with, so of course he'd get worked up almost immediately. "Just..not right now..." Red Velvet groaned. "Fine..just know I'll be here if you need me, even if it's at an inconvenient time. I'll drop whatever I'm doing to be of service to you..and you know that..." Licorice sighed as he left for his own room once again.

Red Velvet hated that he was treating Licorice the way he was. It genuinely hurt to hear Licorice sound so broken, when all he was trying to do is help. Red Velvet felt awful for doing this to Licorice and knew he had to try and fix it sooner or later. He sat up on his bed and got himself together. As Red Velvet got up and off his bed, he realized he'd have to try and hide his canine teeth which have grown larger and were more fang-like. He looked around his room, trying to find something that would make his fangs less apparent, and unfortunately, there was nothing. "Forget it" Red Velvet muttered to himself as he reluctantly opened his bedroom door and made his way to Licorice's room, hoping any of the vampire-like features weren't apparent.
