Chapter 10

Tsukishima's P.O.V

It had been weeks since I last spoke to Hinata and since I left him at his desk I had had this aching feeling in my chest. I tried ignoring it and getting over whatever it was I felt for him. But the pain never left my chest. Some nights I'd just lay in bed unable to sleep. Other nights the pain got so bad I could barely breathe. I couldn't handle it. So on this particular night I grabbed my jacket and left the house.

After a bit of walking I was now standing outside Hinata's house. I climbed up to his window and lightly knocked against the glass. It didn't take long before a tired Hinata came up to the window. He opened before looking at me sadly. "What are you doing here Tsukishima....?" he asked. I didn't answer at first. I just stared into his tired, pain filled eyes that almost perfectly matched mine. He was hurting the same way I was. "Look...you shouldn't be here....please can you-" he started but I cut him off.

"I love you," was all I said shocked those words left my mouth. Hinata stared at me in disbelief. 

"W-what...?" he asked not believing his ears. I sighed looking away for a second before looking back into his eyes. 

"I love you Hinata..." I repeated only this time tears began to fall. "Being away from you was the worst pain I ever felt...I know you don't want me around but I need you....I love you so fucking much..." I said crying. Hinata looked at me in shock.

"Tsukishima....I always want you by my side...the only reason I pushed you away was because I over heard people starting rumours about you cause you were friends with me....I didn't want you getting bullied because of me so I ruined our friendship....I'm so sorry.....but it hurt me every time I saw you cause I love you too...." he said as he also started crying. Without a second thought I leaned in and kissed Hinata lovingly and he kissed back as we both cried. After a short while I pulled away and hugged him.

"Please never leave me again..." I begged and he just nodded. He pulled away slightly and looked me in the eyes.

"But please re-join the team...I know it sucks that I was kicked off but I still want you to play..." he said and I nodded.

"If that's what will make you happy Sho..." I replied not realising what I called him. He giggled a little before smiling at me.

"Did you just call me Sho?" he asked and I blushed. 

"N-no!" I said embarrassed. He just laughed.

"Ok then Kei," he replied making me blush more. 

After a while of cuddling through the window I went to leave but Shoyo held me in place. "Stay...please.." he asked softly.

"Of course," I said before climbing in the window and taking Hinata to his bed where we cuddled each other to sleep.
