This is a very short oneshot I came up with during my free period in school. There isn't much thought behind it, so don't expect too much from this. Enjoy!

Set sometime after season 6, Skybound.

"Jay!" Cole yelled, holding his best friend's shoulders. "Look at me, buddy." After he didn't get him to look back at him, he turned to look at Kai. "What do we do?!"

"I don't know!" Kai exclaimed, going over to his brother. "Jay, you need to calm down, please," he begged.

That only seemed to worsen Jay's state as he started to clutch his heart tightly. It was so tight that it looked like he was about to tear his pajama shirt apart.

His breathing only quickened, and with every moment passing, his vision became blurrier. The constant tears that were rolling down his cheeks weren't going unnoticed either.

"Where the hell is Nya?!" Cole yelled at Kai. Then he looked back at Jay who wasn't aware of anything as he kept muttering words the two couldn't understand.

"... No..."

"... Don't go..."

"... I need you..."

"... Please..."

"... No..."

"... Greatest love stories..."

"... Taken my hand..."

"... Yours to keep..."

"She's not answering her phone!" Kai yelled back before he took out his phone and dialed Nya's number again, hoping she would answer her phone this time.

It rung for a few times before her voice came from the other side. "Hello?"

Kai gasped. "Nya, where are you? Why didn't you answer my calls before?!"

"I told you I needed to go shopping, and my phone was on silent. I'm on my way to Starbucks, do you-"

"You have to come back, now!" Kai demanded, taking a look back at Jay whose breathing was still quick, even though Cole was trying his best to calm him down.

"What? No!" Nya protested.

Her brother rolled his eyes. "Nya, something's wrong with Jay."

There was a short pause on the other side before she spoke up again. "What is it? Is he okay?"

"No! A few minutes ago, he was screaming inside of his room, so Cole and I came looking for what was wrong. But once we were inside, he was still asleep, so we woke him up. But now-"

"I'll be there in two. Try to slow down his breathing and tell him I'm on my way."

With that, she hung up.

"What did she say?" Cole asked, looking at Kai desperately.

Kai didn't answer him. He quickly walked up to Jay and held his shoulder which made him jerk back, so he rested his hand on his knee instead. "Jay, you have to calm down. You're having a panic attack, bud."

Jay didn't answer as he had his eyes closed tightly and his head down, his breathing still quick.

"Nya is on her way back to you. You need to stay awake for her, okay?" Kai asked him calmly.

"But she's gone," Jay said, his voice very quiet and faint.

"Yeah, but she'll come back for you," Kai tried to smile, although his worries for his brother ate him up.

Just then, the door swung open. Cole and Kai looked towards the door to see Nya who quickly threw down the shopping bags in her hand and rushed up to her boyfriend.

"What happened?" She asked, sitting down next to Jay. Then she looked at her boyfriend with worry written all over her face. "Jay? Hey Jay, can you hear me?" She asked softly.

She slowly brought one of her hands up to his face and lifted his head, her hand resting on his tear drenched cheek. "Sparky, open your eyes."

Jay quickly wiggled out of her grasp before he slid away from her.

Nya sighed, looking back at the two boys. She gave them a nod which they returned before walking out of the room and closing the door behind them.

Nya climbed into Jay's bed while watching him the whole time, all of her moves slow and well calculated. "Jay," she whispered.

He didn't answer.

"Sparky," she tried again.

This time, he opened his mouth. "No, you're not really here!" He exclaimed quietly.

"I am here, Jay," she answered, slowly scooting closer to him. "Look," she said, holding out her hand for him to grab.

Jay looked up at her face before he eyed her hand carefully. He sniffed before he shakily touched her hand with his. When he felt nothing but solid skin, he looked at her face to see her smiling at him.

"See? I'm really here," she assured him.

He coughed before he wiped his eyes lightly to see her more clearly. "Really?" His voice broke.

Nya nodded. Then she opened her arms, and within mere seconds, Jay jumped into her arms and started crying hysterically again. This time, into her shoulder.

She enveloped him in a warm hug as she held him tightly against her and rubbed comforting circles around his back while she kept whispering sweet nothings into his ear.

When she felt like he was calm enough to talk, she pulled away slightly to look into his face. "What happened?" She asked softly as she brought her hands up to his cheeks to wipe away his tears which he let her do, now knowing she was there with him.

He opened his mouth, yet nothing came out.

"Was it a nightmare?" Nya asked him. When he nodded defeatedly, she frowned. "You wanna talk about it?"

Jay shook his head, looking down. After that, he scooted closer to her again and put his head back onto her shoulder, sniffing.

"Did you take your meds?"

"No," he mumbled.

Then he felt her nodding against him before her body slipped away from his grasp. Just as he was about to feel upset again, her body came back closer to him. He looked up at her to see that she was plopping two tablets into her hand before grabbing the glass of water that was on his nightstand and handing them to him.

He took it all out of her hands and swallowed down his medications. Then he handed her the glass again and waited for her to come back as she put the glass back onto his nightstand.

Just when Jay thought he could nuzzle his head back into her shoulder, he felt the bed beneath him dip down. He looked down to see Nya getting comfortable in his bed before she looked up at him.

She smiled at him as she opened the blanket, waiting for him to get under it already which he gladly did.

When he slid down next to her, he intentionally slid down lower so that he could rest his head on her right arm and let it dig into her neck, taking in her coconut and chocolate scent. He smiled and sighed contentedly. His right arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer against him, whereas his left arm didn't really know what to do so it chilled somewhere under his belly. Nya's left arm went behind his back which she also used to pull him closer to herself. Then her hand started to play with some of his curls that were at the bottom of his neck.

They spent many minutes in silence, only their breathing could be heard. Then, a yawn interrupted the silence.

Nya chuckled. "Are you tired?"

"Mhm," Jay hummed as he dug his head further into her skin, causing her to smile widely at his cuteness.

"Goodnight, Sparky," she whispered, kissing his head gently.

Once she didn't get a reply, she looked down to see his eyes closed and his breathing steady enough to indicate her that he had to be asleep, so she let out a sigh before resting her head on the pillow underneath her head and closing her eyes, smiling.

"I love you, blue boy."
