Hello my fellow marvel stans! Welcome to another oneshot! As always, please do tell me if you find any mistakes and stuff like that, because I seem to have lost my brain a long time ago and I suck at grammar and spelling.
Alright, I have nothing else to say. Enjoy the story, and it would be great if you could consider voting for this story! Thank you!
Peter looked at the huge building in front of him and sighed. Today was the day he had absolutely not been looking forward to since the beginning of the week. Ever since his teacher hat announced that they would have a tour through Avengers Tower, he had known that this day would be a complete disaster.
And the fact that Flash, of course, had to shout "Well, puny Parker, now the whole class will see, what a pathetic liar you are, pretending to have an internship just for the attention" had only shown him how right he was with his suspicion.
Flash was wrong. He did have some kind of internship in the Avengers tower, but it had nothing to do with Stark Industries. In reality, the internship was the cover he used for the time he spent swinging around the city as Spiderman. He was at the tower almost every day, but not as an intern, but as a member of the avengers, and unfortunately he couldn't have anyone finding that out.
He had talked about it to Tony, and they had come to the conclusion that it would be best if they made it look as if he was a normal low-level intern. All the employees that knew him had been informed that they would have to pretend that they couldn't really remember him, even though they saw him pretty much every day. FRIDAY would treat him as a normal intern, not as an avenger.
It would hopefully all work out. They had prepared everything as good as possible, they had even built him a small workspace in an intern lab, in case his classmates wanted to know where he worked. But still, he had a bad feeling about it.
He knew his luck- well, its absence. With him, something always went wrong, no matter how well-prepared he was for a situation. His life always found a way to turn everything into a catastrophe. He would just have to wait and see how it all turned out...
So now he was sitting in the bus next to Ned and waited to finally being allowed to leave it. As little as he was looking forward to this trip, he was happy to finally be able to leave the bus. Flash had of course chosen the seat right behind Peter, just to be able to annoy him the whole way. Peter had to listen to his dumb comments throughout the whole one and a half hour ride through the traffic of New York. In the end, they were all different versions of "Your lie will be exposed and everyone will see how pathetic you are". How very creative.
Peter was already completely done with the day, and the worst part hadn't even started yet! He just wanted to go home and fall into his bed! Pretty much everything would be better that this! He would even rather fight some aliens or criminals as spiderman, but it seemed as if he didn't have a choice.
A few minutes later, they were finally allowed to get off the bus and were led into the foyer of the tower. Peter had to laugh as he saw the awe on Ned's face, even though he understood his best friend really well. He could still remember how amazed he had been, and how unreal the building with its glass walls and the newest technologies that could be found everywhere in the tower had seemed to him. Even now, that he saw it pretty much every day, the building never failed to amaze him.
But this time, his amazement was overshadowed be nervosity, as he was told to wait in front of the front desk together with the rest of his class. "Good morning and welcome to Avengers Tower! You must be the class with the tour for today! I will give you your visitor passes. They will grant you access to all areas that are accessible for visitors, and other areas, in which you will be able to go if you are accompanied by your tour guide. As soon as you have all received your passes, please head over to the elevators, your tour guide will be waiting for you there." The receptionist told them.
