Hey y'all! Sorry, I know it's been a while once again, but I really try!

Here is the next little one shot, I hope you like it!

Natasha sighted. She was really damn bored. She hadn't been on a mission since forever, (Well, her last mission had been the day before, but still!), and she didn't have anything useful to do.

Since Bruce didn't live in Avengers tower with them any more, the time seemed to pass slower in general. She missed the smart scientist more than she would admit. Even though he was usually pretty serious, he was the one who had made her laugh the most, and without him, the headquarters seemed boring and lifeless.

In the end, she ended up standing up from the bed she had spent the last thirty minutes on by blankly staring at the ceiling. She left her room. She needed some kind of occupation, or she would go crazy. "FRIDAY, who's here at the moment?" she asked, looking at the ceiling as if the artificial intelligence was there. "At the moment, only Mr Stark and Mr Rogers are in the building. They both seem to be in the common area."

Her face immediately lit up. Steve and Tony never managed to be in the same room at the same time, not without starting to fight. If she was lucky, she could watch one of their highly amusing arguments. That would at least be some kind of distraction of her boredom.

And she was right, as she left the elevator and entered the common room a few minutes later, she could hear the loud and clearly enraged voices of the two avengers. "Why can't you just leave me alone? Save someone, that actually needs your help! Maybe you'll find a cat on a tree somewhere, or something." Tony stood in front of the bigger man, who had his arms crossed in front of his chest . "Just stop being so stubborn all the time! It was damn dangerous and reckless, to just walk into there all alone! We were already almost there, you could have just waited two more minutes!" the super soldier replied, not less angry. "As you said, you would be there within minutes if something would have happened, which it didn't!" "But something could have happened!"

Natasha grinned. This was so much better than being bored to death in her room. She already knew this kind of discussion, it was pretty much the same every time. Steve was angry, because Tony had done something careless, and Tony just didn't understand him, well, more like didn't want to understand him.

The two of them could discuss for hours without end, whithout ever coming any closer to a solution. It would probably end as it always did, with Steve training in the training room for hours, destroying one punching bag after another, or with Tony locking himself into his workshop for days and working on his suits.

Natasha had always guessed that there was something more behind all the arguments. There had always been a weird tension between the two men. And she had seen the glances between the them when they thought the other wasn't looking.

But now the eyes of the two men sparkled with anger. If Clint were here right now, Natasha would probably make a bet on who would be the first to storm away. Natasha would vote for Tony.

"It's none of your fucking business, what..." but Tony suddenly stopped in the middle of the sentence. Natasha looked at him in surprise. He held his phone in his hand, the display still lit up. He had just received a call. Natasha was confused, she would have never expected Tony Stark to just interrupt one of his arguments with Steve, only because of a call.

Then, her eyes landed on the face of the billionaire. Just moments before, it had been a furious grimace, but now, the expression was gentle. There was even a little smile on his normally so serious face. "We're not done here. We will finish this discussion later, Cap" He said without looking up from the screen. Then, he accepted the call. "Hey Peter! Are you ok?" even his voice was much kinder now, it almost sounded loving.
