BEEP UGH why me lord... I got up and looked around my boring room while slapping my alarm. I said to myself, "Today is going to be depressing like every other". I sighed and heard my phone ring, I answered and said, "Hello? Why are you calling me?". The girl on the other side said, "Look FrEdDiE, you said you were going to be here and you're not".
I sighed and said mockingly, "Well ToNi I told you on multiple occasions that I don't need your help". Toni sighed and said, "Fine but, I still care is that so wrong?". I replied, "Why do you even care? I haven't even done anything for you to care about me". Toni laughed and said, "That's just how I am!". She sounded so light and happy about it.
She's a nice girl, too nice. I looked at the time and said, "I'm going back to bed-". Toni replied quickly cutting me off, "WAIT, are you free tomorrow?". I sighed and said, "Why? are you asking me on a date?". Toni laughed and said, "Ew no, as much as I love you no. I'm going to the store and I don't want to go alone since... you know". I replied, "yeah... I'll pick you up tomorrow. What time?".
Toni shuffled a bit on the phone and said, "Ah, ten am is good for me". I plopped backward onto my bed and said, "Yeah that's good, alright bye". She replied, "Bye bestie!". She said it especially loud just to annoy me, I rolled my eyes and arrogantly hung up the phone. I put the covers over my head and closed my eyes.
That's when I felt a presence I felt like someone was watching me. I opened my eyes then BAM. Hovering over me was Lili... oh. I sighed and said, "What do you need kid?". Lili got comfortable and lied in the bed with me.
Lili said, "Ya'll should just date, FOR GOD SAKES IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS! she's the only girl other than like, Adalyn that you actually shown a liking to". I turned my back toward her and said, "Yeah but, Adalyn grew on me, and she's a good friend". Lili sighed and said, "Whatever just know, admitting it into the outside world will make you feel so much better". I rolled my eyes and started kicking her off the bed, she fell to the floor with and oof and I looked over to check to see if she was hurt. She got up again with no pain in her eyes and started dragging me out the bed.
She said, "Come, on, Uncle, Fred, You, Have, To, Drive, Me, To, WORK". I sighed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, I freshened up and put on some clothes and made my bed. I walked out my room and grabbed my keys closing my bedroom door. Lili said, "Thank god for Friday's am I right?". I sighed and dropped her off at her job.
I drove back in the rain and looked at the gloomy sky. This is what the world always looked like to me, it always looked gloomy. I walked into the house and saw Avery eating some eggs. I said, "What's up kid, got anymore?". He looked over while watching football skits on his iPad and said, "Mhm, there's more on the stove".
I walked over and shouted, "Blue! you alright?". She walked out her room and said, "Yeah, *cough* I'm sorry I made you drive her to work, I just don't feel well". I walked over calmly and felt her forehead and said, "You're sick, lay down. I'll drive Avery to school too. I'll take care of it".
She nodded and she started going pale. She ran to the bathroom and I heard her gagging. I said, "Are you okay?!". I ran inside and pulled her hair back. She was coughing and lifted her head up.
She said, "Call Boss". I said, "Okay". I dialed his number but he must've been in a meeting because he didn't pick up. I said, "Okay, Well someone needs to drive Avery to school. I'm going to regret this but, I'll call Toni". Blue threw up some more and I dialed her number.
