It was another lovely evening at College Francoise Dupont High. And today Mr. Damocles is in a classroom to give a fun announcement to the whole class.

"You only have one day to work on your fashion piece!", Mr. Damocles announced. "And it must be your own design! In 10 hours, your finished presentation will be judged by none other than a great designer, Gabriel Agreste, the father of our very own student, Adrien Agreste!", Mr. Damocles continued, as he showed the picture of Gabriel on the picture and gestured to Adrien, as everyone awed, while Adrien rubbed his head sheepishly.

"In fact...", Mr. Damocles said. "Adrien will model the winning design in his next photoshoot!", Mr. Damocles continued, making Marinette gasp.

"And now, to announce this year's theme...", Mr. Damocles said, as Mrs. Bustier changed the screen to show a hat. "Derby hats!", Mr. Damocles continued.

"Derby hats?", Marinette asked in surprise. She looks over and sees Chloe giving a thumbs down.

After class, Marinette was pacing around looking through the drawings of her sketch pad, while Alya and Coraline watch her. "Derby hat, derby hat!", Marinette said repeatedly.

"Derby hat, derby hat! I don't have any derby hat designs! I've got top hats, caps, even two horn hats! Need a beret? I'm your girl! A sombrero? No problemo! But a derby!?", Marinette continued. Coraline just shrugged at her.

"You know what?", Marinette asked. "It won't even matter, because I'll probably make a total fool of myself at the event most likely trip over my stupid derby and collapse on Mr. Agreste! Give him a full-blown concussion and Adrien will hate me! I'll never be a world-renowned fashion designer! My life is over!", Marinette continued, as she fell on her knees and slumped her head on Alya's lap.

"I don't think it won't happen like that.", Coraline said. "All this over a derby hat?", Alya asked.

"Here, let me see your sketchbook, girl! There's gotta be something in there!", Alya continued, as Marinette handed her the sketchbook and looks over it with Coraline. "Forget it!", Marinette said, as she sat down beside Coraline.

"I'm a disaster zone. I'll probably mess everything up in the end...", Marinette continued. "Wow, Alya!", Adrien said, who was leaning at the wall, sees some drawings of the sketch pad, which made Marinette jumped, as she fell to the ground.

"Those are some awesome designs! I didn't know you had such mad skills!", Adrien continued. "Uh...", Alya started.

"Thanks, Adrien, but, I can't take the credit. These sick designs belong to Marinette!", Alya continued, as she gestured to Marinette, who was hiding beside the bench, as she waved at him slightly. "Off the chain, right?", Alya asked.

"You're super talented, Marinette!", Adrien said. "You seriously have a good chance of winning!", Adrien continued.

"Well... Um... Yeah!", Marinette stuttered. "I like... Um... Designs that... Um... Go...", Marinette continued to stutter, as Alya and Coraline gave her thumbs up.

"...Upwards?", Marinette said, as Adrien gave her a confused look, while Alya and Coraline gesture to her to not improvise. "Um! While stopping! I mean! Uh... Uh... Um! Thanks?", Marinette continued.

"Sure!", Adrien said. "And... Uh... Good luck! Maybe I'll be wearing your derby at father's next photoshoot!", Adrien continued.
