In Marinette's room, was writing her diary, while Tikki was just looking out through the window. "Dear diary, guess what?", Marinette said, as she recited in her diary.

"I was two spots away from transforming back and revealing my true identity to Cat Noir and Licorne.", Marinette continued. Then, Tikki flew up to the Marinette.

"Hey Marinette! Weren't you meeting Alya back at school this afternoon to research your term paper?", Tikki asked, causing Marinette to gasp. "Oh no, I'm late! Again!", Marinette said, as she quickly stood up and puts her diary in her magic box.

Then, she grabs her things, as Tikki quickly went inside her hiding place and ran out of the room, before running to school. In College Francoise Dupont High, Marinette have arrived in school. Just then, she heard some noise coming from the library. 

Tikki popped her head out of her purse. "What's that noise?", Tikki asked. 

"Hide, Tikki!", Marinette said, as Tikki went back inside the bag, before she went to the library. In the library, the students were seemed to be playing a video game called, "Ultimate Mecha Strike III". 

Adrien and Max are playing, while Alya records them just as Marinette arrives. "Come on, Max..", Kim said. 

Marinette soon sees Alya recording. "What's going on, Alya?", Marinette asked, but Alya shushed her. 

Then, Rose came beside her. "Try-outs for the Paris Ultimate Mecha Strike III Tournament!", Rose answered. 

"This school sends the two students with the highest scores!", Rose continued. "Actually, the tryouts offer a partner to team up with Max in the tournament.", Kim said. 

"Why Max?", Marinette asked. "'Cause he's unbeatable! He's a total rocksord!", Kim said. 

"He's got the highest APM over anyone!", Kim continued. "APM?", Marinette questioned. 

"Actions per minute?", Kim replied. "This tournament is his whole life! He's been grinding all year to level up.", Kim continued. 

Just then, Adrien's robot, NAD03, uses his special attack on Max's robot, MX-01. MX-01 is crushed and NAD03 earned some EXP leveling up, meaning that NAD03 wins. 

"Adrien is now in the lead.", Mrs. Bustier said. "What happened, Max?", Kim asked, as everyone cheered for Adrien. 

"Hmm... Awesome job.", Max said with a small smile. "We're gonna make a killer combo.", Max continued, as he and Adrien high five, as the other students cheered for them. 

Then, Marinette thought of something. "So let me get this straight.", Marinette said. 

"If someone manages to beat Max's score, they'll team up with Adrien at the tournament?", Marinette continued. "No one can beat Max.", Kim said. 

"Or rather Max and Adrien. It's a slam dunk. They're our school's dream team!", Kim continued. But then, Alya elbowed Marinette's arm and takes her by the hand and drags her to a book shelf. 

"I see where you're going with this, Little lady.", Alya said. "Just imagine... Teaming with Adrien!", Marinette said, happily. 

"Are you out of your mind, Girl?", Alya asked. "This is about stepping up and representing! Not snuggling up and snogging! This is serious business!", Alya continued.
