In the morning at the Dupain-Cheng residence, Sabine was making sure Tom was nice and neat, while Marinette waits for him. Today is Parents Career Day were students bring their parents to school and tell them about their career job.

"Ready, Papa?", Marinette asked. "As much as I'll ever be!", Tom said, as he and Marinette walk out the door.

"Happy Career Day, my darlings!", Sabine said sweetly, as she waved goodbye to them, as they gone down the steps. At school, Tom is presenting the whole class about his job. 

"My day begins at 4am every morning because the bakery opens at 7am!", Tom said. "You think that the life of a baker is pretty routine! Making the same pastries, rolls, cakes! But actually, it's different everyday! One day, someone might order a cake in a shape of the Eiffel Tower and the other day you might...", Tom continued. 

While he was speaking, Adrien was outside of the class with a phone on his ear. He was trying to call his father, but it only leaves a voicemail. 

"You've reached the voicemail of Gabriel Agreste's office, so please leave a message!", the voicemail of Gabriel said. "Hi, father...", Adrien said a bit sadly. 

"It's me... It's Parent's Career Day at school remember...? I was hoping that you were going to show up... Call me back...", Adrien continued, as he hang up his phone and looks down sadly. Then, Plagg came out. 

"You okay?", Plagg asked with a concerned look. "Yeah, whatever...", Adrien said, glumly. 

"Nothing new...", Adrien continued. Back inside the class, Tom has finished presenting his career and everyone clapped for him, while Nino records on his phone. 

Then, Adrien came inside the class and sat on his seat beside Nino. Nino touched his shoulder in concern, making Adrien look up at him. 

He shook his head, meaning his father won't come. "Marinette will come around and pass out some crescents baked fresh this morning!", Tom said, as Marinette both walk up holding crescents. 

"Thank you, Mr. Dupain!", Mrs. Bustier said, as Tom smiled and went to his spot. "Now lets meet Alya's Mom, who is head chef of the Grand Paris Hotel owned by the mayor, Mr Bourgeois!", Mrs. Bustier continued, as Alya and her mother came up. 

As she spoke, Marinette sees Adrien looking so glum, causing her to look at him sadly, before she started handing out crescents. Meanwhile, Chloe has a case in front of her and opens it to reveal a beautiful bracelet. 

"It's beautiful!", Sabrina said, as she took the bracelet and was about to put it on. But, Chloe slaps her hand and took the bracelet from her. 

"Look!", Chloe said, firmly. "Don't touch!", Chloe continued. 

"Put it away, sister.", Coraline said. "You might lose it.", Coraline continued. 

"She's right, Chloe.", the Mayor said. "It could get in the wrong hands.", the Mayor continued. 

Chloe puts the bracelet back into the case, as Marinette gave a crescent to Sabrina and Coraline. "I wonder how many crescents your Dad would have to sell to buy you one of these!", Chloe said, as she gestured to the case. 

"What am I saying? He had to sell the whole store!", Chloe continued. "Well, if your so rich, obviously you don't need free crescents!", Marinette said, as smiled triumphantly and left.
