In the Dupain-Cheng residence, Marinette is in the family living room using a French-to-Chinese translator app. "You'll see, Tikki. I'll say it just fine.", Marinette said, as she pressed the microphone.

"Welcome to my home. My name is Marinette.", Marinette continued. "欢迎来到我的家，我的名字叫马里内特.", the translator app said in Chinese.

Marinette repeats after the translator app, but she pronounces it wrong. "No, that's not right.", Marinette said, as she tries again and gets the statement correct.

"Good job, Marinette!", Tikki said. "I'm so nervous!", Marinette said.

"Do you think he'll like them?", Marinette continued, as she picked of the purple flowers from the table. "Well of course!", Tikki said.

"They're fine!", Tikki continued. "They can't be fine, they have to be perfect!", Marinette said.

"My Mom's uncle is a super famous Chinese chef. He's very particular, so things have to be just right.", Marinette continued. Just then, the doorbell rings.

"That's him!", Marinette said. "Hide, Tikki!", Marinette continued, as Tikki hides in Marinette's jacket.

Marinette stood up, but trips over the backing of the couch. But, she quickly stand up and opens the door.

In front was a man wearing a chef outfit. He has a small mustache and a little beard.

This is Wang Cheng. Sabine's uncle and Marinette's great-uncle.

"你好 (Hello).", Wang Cheng said, as he put his hands together and took a small bow. "Uh... Welcome Mari you're at Nette's.", Marinette stuttered.

"Uh... Ah... Welcome to Marinette's! You're Chinese! No no no no! In Mandarin!", Marinette continued, as she tried to great her uncle in Chinese, while giving him flowers. "Ugh! No wait.", Marinette said, as she reaches for her phone and hands the flowers to Wang Cheng, who smells them, before taking out their petals and putting them in his bag.

"Welcome to my home. My name is Marinette.", Marinette whispered. "Ugh, this is so lame.", Marinette continued.

"欢迎来到我家。我的名字叫马里内特.", the translator app said. "哎，这个真差劲。哎，这个真差劲。哎，这个-...", the translator app continued.

But then, it started to malfunction and keeps translating, "Ugh, this is so lame!" in Chinese and Marinette quickly closes the app, before she greeted her uncle inside. While Wang Cheng enters the room, Marinette was on the phone with Alya, whom she just dialed.

"Alya, you've gotta help me.", Marinette said. "I don't know what to do with my mom's uncle. You know, the one I told you about? Well, I don't think I can pull this off...", Marinette continued.

The bubble shows Alya sitting on a park bench. "Chill out, Marinette! I got the solution.", Alya said.

"Just hang tight.", Alya continued, as she hung up. "Thank you! You're amazing.", Marinette said to the dial tone.

"What solution? Huh? Aw...", Marinette continued when she realize that Alya was not there anymore and sighed. A few minutes later, Marinette was sitting uncomfortably with Wang Cheng, while awaiting Alya's help.
